This song had been a huge hit in Germany where this concert is which is why it was probably performed there and the fans were really enjoying it. It's unlikely they played it in the UK/US etc.
Their fights were legendary and more than one session musician wouldn't work with them because of it. All 3 acknowledged that they only rode out the fireworks because they were family. Oasis was perhaps the only band who followed the Bee Gees' model of family togetherness and the Gallaghers outdid the Gibbs as far as family unity. Like most of us their relationships ebbed and flowed over time but Barry himself admitted that they'd all done things to each that were not nice. I don't know that there was much trouble between Maurice and Robin who were closer than even most twins. I think Barry's leadership was not always welcome. It wasn't always fair either. Tough to say exactly what went on because neither Robin nor Maurice ever said much publicly about personal matters. Barry was not as circumspect. You can trace the ups and downs pretty clearly by his public comments which nearly always painted him as a victim of the tyrannical twins which was a tough sell. Not that everything was his fault just that the twins were not as gabby. I love them both but Barry must have been in a tough spot sometimes being the odd out in a trio where the other two members were phenomenally close. I think ( because I cannot know) that was partly why he was so close to Andy. He loses my sympathy though when he says they were the "real twins" because Robin and Maurice had such different personalities. They did indeed but when one of them can feel the pain of the other falling off his bike miles away you can be sure that their connection will be the strongest and the least likely to unravel. I had a point when I started this post but is now lost in the mists of time.

Not taking a thing from Mo and Barry, but Robin was “The Voice!” Such a unique tone, beautiful vibrato and perfectly delivered with ease! Could listen to him all night. I know they were a big hit with Saturday Night Fever, but I just couldn’t get into those songs. Everything else they wrote was magic. Family harmonies can’t be beaten and when these boys sang, it was as ONE. Perfect pitch, perfect timing, perfection at its finest.
Delilah Rainelle, I agree, Robin is the best of the best, not just the Bee Gees. And I also stayed away from his music during his Disco period, I didn't put up with so much exaggerated falsetto. Instead, I never get tired of listening to Robin, I listen to him every day.
