That looked like a very physically demanding trip! I like the way you showed the tide flowing in and out. I have a feeling your wife was not too hip on your rock wall crossing...that looked flat out dangerous! Glad you'll live to shoot more videos! ;) Great job.

Nice seafood risotto to start off the New Year! There's a variety of that "sea asparagus" (11:00) some people farm for consumption in the US, it's awesome with raw tuna in poke salad. Good Luck and Happy 2022 to you and the Fam, Chris! I just have to add that there ain't nobody doing UA-cam quite like you, Chris! I hope all that awesome effort really pays off for you this year. Floating the pack with the hoochie reminded me of a Army reserve exercise where they did the same thing. Only issue was the raft off balanced and they lost an M60 in the middle of the river. Awesome episode as usual.

As one of the guys who owns the mussel farming down there, I just gotta tell you how to get the beard's off the mussel. pull from the hinge forward, and pop, out it all comes. Where you got the abb's is in front of the lease we call whale spit, and we cant get anyone to dive on it to check the anchors for the mussel ropes, because.... there is a monster great white that calls it home!!! Nice one as allways.

Spring weather is just arriving here in the U.K. Russia is mad at the world and we’re all very worried about it here. I’m sorting my camping gear out at the moment and preparing for my first of the year bikepacking trips. Anglesey to Chepstow. The length of Wales. Some 240 miles! A 3 day adventure for me. I do enjoy your Robinson Crusoe trips. Keep on sharing them with us won’t you? I wish I could do more to help the Ukrainian refugees, Vlad the Slayer is determined to do his worst.

@@ChrisBamman79 I find the best thing to do is to soak them in soapy water for 24 hours and then repeat in fresh water for the rinse. Keep the vids coming 🙂

Impressive adventure, more than usual even, and that is saying something. Technically though, the rock steady shots of you swimming mid-stream. Is that software or did you discover how to keep a camera still on water ? Gonna call that most impressive shot with number two being the jump across the chasm early on (yikes though!). Love the videos.
haha thanks heaps for watching again mate !! nah the swim by shoots were done with a bit of jerry rigging, I cable tied the tripod shut onto a piece of bamboo id found and pushed it into the bottom:) took a bit of doing but I reckon it was worth it :) really stoked you watched and enjoyed it !!
Ha ! Yea, rock steady in the water, You are too much . . . Still not sure how you fit in the actual activities and all the extra stuff you do to get it all on camera. Pretty sure you have super powers. Take care from half way round at Barnegat Bay NJ USA.

I’m sorting my camping gear out at the moment and preparing for my first of the year bikepacking trips. Anglesey to Chepstow. The length of Wales. Some 240 miles! A 3 day adventure for me. I do enjoy your Robinson Crusoe trips. Keep on sharing them with us won’t you?

@@ChrisBamman79 I find the best thing to do is to soak them in soapy water for 24 hours and then repeat in fresh water for the rinse.

truck tubes work good for getting your gear across they are also good to use with your fins im always in the river with the tube and fins

Impressive adventure, more than usual even, and that is saying something. Technically though, the rock steady shots of you swimming mid-stream. Is that software or did you discover how to keep a camera still on water ? Gonna call that most impressive shot with number two being the jump across the chasm early on (yikes though!). Love the videos.
haha thanks heaps for watching again mate !! nah the swim by shoots were done with a bit of jerry rigging, I cable tied the tripod shut onto a piece of bamboo id found and pushed it into the bottom:) took a bit of doing but I reckon it was worth it :)
