Didn't know till reading this now. I listen to these songs to remind me of my friend that passed. Its sad to think the voice behind these songs is no longer with us. Such great talent, may he rest in peace.
Agreed, he makes games, but he is also an artist... which means there is a deliberate meaning and reason behind every choice he makes, like the Decima name for the engine that meant Dejima ''exit island'', referring to everything he's been through
I will absolutely never forget you Ryan. Your music spoke to me in a way no other has, and I listen to you almost every single day to remember that. Wherever Beach you have found yourself in, we will always hold you close in our hearts. Thank you for everything
Meeting Ryan and visiting his concert is in my bucket list. I never want to erase this goal. We live until there are stories about us. When people ask me what bands inspire me to create my own songs, I always talk about Ryan. Hopefully, he is in a better place now.
I was vacationing at my families cabin and I snuck out of the house (which is next to a lake) barefoot in the chilly morning and sat on the dock with my brothers speaker, and played this song on replay as I watched the sun rise over the trees and reflect in the calm waters at 5-6 AM. It was one of the best experiences of my life and it makes me feel whole again. This song is amazing, and it helped me see the beauties of life and nature and how the world is other than technology and pollution. And is anyone here before 2020 begins?
Here on 14th of April 2023 at midnight, and its raining outside my window, and its beautiful. have it on repeat as i'm trying to see the stars past the raindrops on my window. Thank you for a beautiful memory of yours from a sweeter time, it's made this experience more ethereal. have a good day!!
The song was some of the only comfort I found in my darkest of times. This one and "I'll Keep Coming." Really all of Ryans music. Such an amazing artist who will be missed greatly.
Ryan was evidently one of the best performers of our time but I gotta give props to my fellow producers and sound engineers behind this song and their whole discography
Thank you Ryan, for what you left behind, your such magical songs and music. Sleep well and rest in peace, this world will miss you very much. I also express my condolences to Ryan's family and friends, as well as his colleagues. With sorrow and regret from Russia.
I heard you call my name While I'm passing out The mistake I've made It can't be turned around I took the easy way out I took the easy way out I took the easy way out I went one for one Before casting out The mistake I've made It can't be turned around I took the easy way out I took the easy way out I took the easy way out I wanna feel something again memorable I wanna feel something again memorable I wanna feel something again memorable I wanna feel something again memorable
Thanks for everything Ryan. You put more life in someone’s world, more depth in people’s opinions of music, opened a lot of closed eyes, and made me think more deeply about things. Thank you, for everything you’ve given us. Best wishes to your family, and I’m glad to have heard you.
I deal with clinical depression. And there are some days where I want to take the easy way out. And I'll play this song each time. And each time, for some reason I don't know WHY, when the part at 2:17 begins and then kicks in a few seconds later, I feel the fight come over me. The desire to keep on keeping on. And then "I wanna feel something again memorable"..... Those lyrics remind me Why. And I keep going.
Infinite Ikari agreed it’s haunting in the best ways. I also like that very silent wind instrument after he says “I took the easy way out” ( cues horns)
Well been listening to Low Roar since that last Death Stranding trailer. I honestly did not another from Low Roar. I'm glad they picked this one. Definitely one of my favorites. Glad more people can listen to this song.
I know that Kojima bought me here but the lyrics really showed me light. I've been having suicidal thoughts for reasons I cannot disclose online but now I can get over them, I mean yes it is a mistake and you only realise it once you're passing out and it cant be turned around. Thank You Low Roar and Thank You Kojima.
im glade you been shown some light thanks to Hideo, and Low Roar's music, i too have had problems with that and only music like this and more supernatural thing's get me out of it.
Kojima has a good taste of music when selecting songs for his trailers, apparently this song relates to Death Stranding which he said. Gotta hand it to him
I couldn't tell you why but this song makes me cry, has nothing to do with the games or some sappy story related to the lyrics, I just get the uncontrollable urge to ugly cry.
Pretty amazing how a song can capture a moment in time. As time pass, whenever you listen to it again you can relive the same emotions you experienced the first time. Not all songs can do that. Rest in Peace Ryan.
I have had suicidal tendencies for many years now. Hell, I actually tried to take my own life. Hideo Kojima and LowRoar have showed me what could've happened, what actually would have happened, in a first person perspective. Kojima, LowRoar, thank you for producing this amazing song. It has given me a whole new perspective on life, and how amazing it truly is to live.
In my darkest moments I always turn to Ryan's heavenly voice and although this song has an extremely dark meaning from many aspects but an artist being able to express these feelings so beautifully makes me feel better every single time. I love you like a brother even though I never met you RIP 🌹.
I think I am in love with this song...such a beautiful voice and melody.. It's sad but it lifts me up! Many thanks to Kojima..I would not be here otherwise 🙏
To you who's listening and looking for some comfort in any place...You are not to be alone, no one deserves to be left alone in that hole. To you who's reading and is thinking on taking the easy way out...there is hope, there is love. I do not know you, but I was there for you, today, just a minute ago while writing this. I was thinking of you, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!
"Heard you call my name as I'm passing out" The most haunting part of the song. As he's dying he hears a loved one voice for the last time yet the haunting part is the other one sees a loved one as he killing himself.
If you want a good experience with this song, put in headphones/earbuds and you can hear every instrument and beat to the song. This song has so many feels and should be much more appreciated!
I have always loved Low Roar and this track. But hearing them singing it live brought some new colors and new feelings to this song for me. Now I love it even more, and appreciate it more.
Надеюсь он где-то там или где-то здесь может услышать наши слова благодарности, звучащие на разных языках. Муж любит игры, а я музыку. Так мы и познакомились с этим чудесным исполнителем. Пусть вечность будет с ним нежна. Спасибо.
I didn't listen to this song much in the past compared to other songs from Low Roar. But since Tuesday this week, my mom attempted suicide and I've been listening to it a lot. I like to think of the second half as the feeling after realizing the attempt was unsuccessful and that you got a second chance to feel again.
Rest in Peace Ryan Karazija. Your voice will forever resonate in my heart as I'll listen to your songs as long as I live.
RIP memorable

Didn't know till reading this now. I listen to these songs to remind me of my friend that passed. Its sad to think the voice behind these songs is no longer with us. Such great talent, may he rest in peace.
My heart breaks everytime I start listening to his voice, and then the pieces go back in place while I listen to his voice.
Rest in peace Ryan.
Rip to the one and only he was an incredible talent may he rest in peace❤️
This song still makes me want to go for a walk with some smokes. Keep on keeping on.
I want to steal kojima's ipod and see all the music he has
Right?! Haha he has such a good taste in music...
i am pretty sure he has a great taste in music but i think there's a meaning in his choice
Agreed, he makes games, but he is also an artist... which means there is a deliberate meaning and reason behind every choice he makes, like the Decima name for the engine that meant Dejima ''exit island'', referring to everything he's been through
Or you know, because Guerrilla Games decided to name it that. I really doubt Kojima chose the engine just because of the name.
you steal kojima's ipod, i'll steal his walkman
I will absolutely never forget you Ryan. Your music spoke to me in a way no other has, and I listen to you almost every single day to remember that. Wherever Beach you have found yourself in, we will always hold you close in our hearts.
