- Time for another redesigning series! This time it's all about my very rarely used Danganronpa characters! With a bonus, this time I draw them as talk sprites!

Hope everyone liked this series! Like many of my other old characters, I will be doing absolutely nothing else with these characters after this point. They never had a set story to begin with and I don't have an interest in attempting to create anything for these outdated characters at this point. If your interested in story stuff from me check out some of my other videos that are about my current characters! Otherwise, these designs will just be existing for your enjoyment.

Fun fact: Race cars and their drivers are covered in ads because that's who sponsored them! They essentially get paid to be a big billboard in hope's that people will see them, like the driver, and purchase things from the sponsors. That's the gist of it

Taiga could be the antagonist out of the 4 characters because he could say something really dumb at the very start that could be really close to the actual story or had a part of the story hidden in what he said. The others could immediately dismiss his theory that was actually correct to some extent which could be kinda funny right?

Tip for the texture: many people prefer using overlay because it gives it vibrancy, i used to use multiply as well but mine came darker(high oppacity) or duller or faint (low oppacity)

I think the name of this game would be Danganronpa 4: Heavens Rejects based on when you put them into a different universe based on Angels and on how that didn't really work out

As an Irish person myself, I have taken it upon myself yo give some advice about Siobhán! First of all, I would like to commend you for making your protag Irish, it's nice to finally have some Irish representation in Danganronpa. Now, as for the actual advice, I do really like her design and have no prblems with it, just some things to mention in terms of Irish people, our culture and whatnot.
First of all, the hair. I will say that the choice to give her a big, high ponytail was a great one, as it is an extremely common among teenage Irish girls. However, red/ginger hair isn't actually very common over here. In fact, quite the contrary. Of course, I'm not advising you to change Siobhán's hair as red hair still does exist in Ireland and this is Danganronpa (I don't think blue hair is exactly "common" in the real world) but it's kust something to take note of.
Next up is the clothing, which also kind of leads into her (possible) backstory. However, first I would need to (briefly) explain the Irish education system. In America, where you would have Elementary School, Middle School, and High School, over here you have Primary School and Secondary School. Primary starts with Junior Infants and Senior Infants the following year (Kindergarten), and then 1st Class to 6th Class (1st Grade to 6th Grade in the west). Then Secondary School is 1st Year to 6th Year (7th Grade to 12th Grade in America). Since she is a High School Student in Japan, this would equate to late Secondary School in Ireland. The reason this is important is because of the uniform for Secondary School (which I will now refer to as SS because it is so long to type). In Ireland, SS uniforms tend to have common themes: for girls (since Siobhán is one) they would have a white button-up shirt, a skirt, tights, black shoes, and a woolen jumper. Things such as cardigans and ties aren't as common. Of course, this doesn't mean you *can't* include them, or you *have* to include the other things, but it's just something to keep in mind. Otherwise though, I jave no further pointers on the clothing.
Finally, her backstory. As I said before, she would be in the equivilent to late SS when she starts going to Hope's Peak, roughly 5th Year (11th Grade) if she's 17. The convinience about this is that in SS, you have 2 state exams: the Junior Cert in 3rd Year (9th Grade), and the Leaving Cert in 6th Year (12th Grade). However, after 3rd Year comes a special year know as Transition Year, or TY, which is the same as 10th Grade in the US. The special thing about TY is that A: You drop some classes and take up some others; B: You do work experience; C: Not only are classes optional, but the entire year itself is. If you want, you can completely skip TY and go from 3rd Year straight to 5th Year. This means that, if after her Junior Cert (which takes place in the Irish Equivilent of Freshmen Year of *High School*, she could get scouted by Hope's Peak, move to Japan during when she normally would have been doing TY, and start scool in March, when the Japanese school year would start and when she would enter the Japanese equivilent of 5th Year: the Year she would turn 17. The year she could start attending Hope's Peak. Pretty nifty how that worked out if I do say so myself.
Anyway, that's just some advice for you on Siobhán. Again, I'm not ordering you to do this or anything (that would be really dumb) just some things to keep in mind. Great work with what you have done by the way!

This was super fun to watch! Maybe for future videos it could be fun to brainstorm what some characters’ executions would be like

I was going to do an Ultimate Race Car Driver but my mind just went “ Don’t ya think Ultimate Violinist is better?” So I threw that idea out the window

I kinda do the same thing when makeing any sprites but I use two characters and line up their eyes at low capacity and drw over

Some tips on making an original character is to make something unique of your character like things your character have uniquely some example is finn's hat from adventure time. So when your someone saw your character it has something that is recognizedable with just looking at the character silhouette. Also when making an original character you must have a pallete with a dominant color, you could also use IIRC is called shape language example when you see a character which have a lot triangle shape in it you know it an antagonist character.

I actually have a danganronpa campaign and it’s super fun to draw all the players characters aswell as my own in the campaign lol.
the one problem i have with this is the hair. its just- so bright and- y'know if you look at a danganronpa sprite and your drawings they look- completely different and i would suggest adding more detail into the hair instead of the shape and the hair light dunno
