- 10-BALL - How about Jayson Shaw and Shane Van Boening? What a rivalry! In 2015, Shaw, 27, and Van Boening, 32, were invited to the Make-It-Happen 10-Ball Invitational. Surprised? They played their match near the end of the event, so everything was at stake. Shaw just scored back-to-back championships at the Turning Stone 9-Ball event. Van Boening just won the Derby City Classic 10-Ball Challenge. Enjoy!

Wow! SVB really turned it on here. The way he was playing he could've run 5 more racks! Shaw is definitely a great shot-maker but made a few mistakes and SVB punished him.
When u practice the break for 8 hours straight at a time u become the best 10 ball breaker in the world and deserve every bit of it
Good observation. I think Shane makes adjustments to the break better than anyone, which is in itself a skill. Knowing (during the course of play) when the table is starting to break differently vs. when your break needs an adjustment is a skill set unto its own.

Exactly what I saw as well. Turned his back so quickly SVB couldn't have returned any compliment even if it came.
Yea Shaw and SVB are huge rivalries in the Mosconi cup when Shaw won it for Europe against SVB, Shaw was extremely rude made me look at him differently
