I recently rediscovered the Berean Standard Bible through your channel, and it’s resonating with me in a way it hadn’t before. Audio Bibles are my main way of connecting with God’s Word, and while there are some truly exceptional readings-like David Suchet’s narration of the NIV, especially the book of Psalms, Jon Mor's CSB, Michael Reeves's ESV, George W. Sarris's NIV, and some dramatized readings such as 'Breathe Bible New Testament,' 'Inspired by the Bible Experience,' and 'NIV Live'-I often find that many narrators fall short. Too often, they read the text as though it were an instruction manual, missing the heart of it. They may read the words, but they don't convey the feeling, as though speaking to the void instead of the listener’s soul. I long for readings that truly bring the words to life-narrators who pray the Psalms with the devotion of King David, speak Saint Paul’s letters with the same heartfelt care he had for the early Christian communities, and proclaim the words of the prophets with the urgency of a soul entrusted with God’s message to a wayward people. I seek readers who recite the Gospels as though they had walked alongside Christ, witnessing His miracles and sharing in the awe of His presence, and who deliver the wisdom of Proverbs not as distant advice but as a father lovingly passing down hard-earned lessons to his child. Your narration is very, very good, and your passion shines through. While it has a touch of that 'American announcer' quality, I find that many American narrators possess strong, commanding voices, but your narration has good inflection. It holds my attention. I can easily see myself returning to your readings, soaking up the Word of God with great joy and delight. A small suggestion on the engineering side: I found that amplifying the volume of this particular reading by 6dB, adding a compressor (threshold -12, ratio 4:1, attack 0.250, release 200), and applying an EQ (-3dB around ~740Hz with a Q of 1.0) really brought out the richness of the sound. However, there seems to be some effects or filters applied that cause slight pumping and artifacts (for example, at 4:56 on the word 'now' and in other places), which might be due to a noise gate hitting too hard. Thank you so much for investing your time and energy in this holy work. I will pray for you, and I can’t wait to hear more!
Keith, thank you so much for this reading. God has truly given you a gift and thank you for sharing your gift with all of us.
Thanks brother. This has been (and continues to be) a fun project!

Thank you for your encouragement and suggestions. I will pass this along to my editor/producer. (Since I'm NOT a sound guy!) ;)
