I have had this watch for 5 years now, it is just awesome! The best-looking Pro Trek ever made imo. I live on an island so the tide graph/moon phase indicator is invaluable. Also I love that the strap can be switched out easily for a 22mm Nato or Zulu strap. If I could change anything it would up the vs.2 sensor to a vs.3 (vs.2 is slow & inaccurate) & also the compass indicator to stay on for 1 min instead of only 20 seconds. But apart from that, it's perfect

I have future proofed them by buying around 150 tempered glass screen protectors. Yea . I know. EXTREME OVERKILL. What can I say. I want the giga chad of digital watches to last forever. PRW 2500 200M WATER RESIST PRW 3500 100M WATER RESIST Its BEYOND clear what the deal is. An that deal is F the customer give us ur money. Its BEYOND DISGRACEFUL. I guess the final thing I could say to u my bro. If u see anymore of these. Ud be wise as well to cop every last 1. They are going to be an ASSET. An a TRUE 1 OF A KIND watch. Probably for the rest of there existence. I know IM NEVER BUYING ANY WATCH THAT DOWNGRADES ITS FEATURES WITH ITS "NEWER/NEXT RELEASES". I could talk about this for days. @@mgtowanonymous3120 ....lol. "Upgrades" are a marketing thing. This thing crushes it. autolight, all the features you mentioned, solar, and it's never so much as hiccupped. I was tempted briefly to buy a newer PRW or PRG...but they do nothing more than this little monster does....and I thought why look at anything else. I also bought the screen protector...lol. It catches atomic time signal flawlessly..and honestly...I don't know what else you could possibly want from a watch. Stays charged forever....Enjoy brother.....I love mine too. Good choice.
Have to admit that in my fairly limited experience, the digital watches have been far more reliable. I've had the same Casio basic digital watch for over 12 years now. Used it almost every day and night, not even changed the battery. Had a combo analogue and digital Casio (SGW-500) that died within 2 years. Shame because it looked great and had the perfect combo of features for me. I do prefer analogue when I can get it though.
I have this same watch on a strap. I love mine because it hs the moon and tide complication. It isa the only Protrek I have with that complication. As someone else said it has the ver 2 sensors which are not as good as the v3 in the later models but for my purposes they are generally good enough. Great watch. Casios are the bomb and mostly bomb proof.
IoT is the worst movement in recent times tbh. Invasion of privacy and degradation of awesome technology design and ingenuity into just connecting a screen to Google or Amazon with bluetooth and wifi. Thank god they still sell these things atm.

im a mariner and i use the PRG 250 (yes theres equipment onboard) but honestly you could use it if you are not on bridge
The last of the good ones indeed. All the later 'PRW' models have better sensors but that's it. Everything else is better on this one. 😊
IoT is such a shame we are moving away from analogue and into purely digital. The duplex screen is amazing.
