Not enough, Marquez was needed in 2nd place, Marquez fall was bad luck for Bagnaia. He will lose the title if he wins every race and Martín stays in 2nd.

Pecco had the pace the whole race (which is why he won, that's how that works). Marc was pushing past the limit and so appeared fast at some moments but it wasn't sustainable and that's why he crashed. That's how that works too.

Yamaha kinda lost oportunty with 3 riders: vale, Maverick and Quartararo. They all had championship pace at the time but the bike wasnt there. Sad. Maverick was doing miracles with that suzuki back in time.

Great race by Pecco, he was spit on. Martin made way too many mistakes, lucky not to fall. Acosta was crazy, rode his heart out. Marquez, as always, making life difficult to the contenders just to crash out. He has not understood how to compete at this level. He is just all in, either win or crash out. At the highest level you have to be smarter than that, know your limits and when to take risks. He is just a wreck waiting to happen. You would think that, by now, he would have learned something, but now.

The new rear tyre along with the gp24s much better acceleration means it is much further ahead of gp23 than gp23 was to gp22, as evidenced by results of literally everyone on gp23 bar Marc. Bezzechi who was a title contender last year on gp22 is 200 pts behind Marc, did he forget riding or is Marc just a better rider?
Great race; I'm not sure if they shoot with local camera ooerators at each venue, or travel with a crew, but the work on this was excellent. Using very long lenses they consistently kept the action tighttly framed.

I watched the race live today from the Yamaha Stand, and I must say that Marc Marquez's crash between Turn 8 and Turn 9 completely changed the course of the race.
For the worse 🙁, he should have take less risk, he would win anyway at later stage, but oh well, you need the right tools to fight for the top on bike dependent tracks.

Incredible, the Yamaha practically stays put when accelerating out compared to the Ducati! Sad for Fabio. Bagnaia's riding style is not spectacular, but when you see what Marquez has to do to stay with him, you realize how fast he is - and above all, he stays put on his bike.
Congratulations to Bagnaia! He dominated despite he does not like the rain! Martin was wise and lucky, risking to crash several times during the race...
Great race for Pecco, he truly needed and earned that win, IMO i believe MM93 was trying to push Pecco to ride faster, he could have been passed pecco, and the 2 passes he made was him telling Pecco that he is moving to slow, MM93 crashed out trying to play buffer between Pecco and Martin, that was a tricky situation MM93 to be in, he doesn't want to win and take the points away from Pecco at this stage, and he is trying to stop Martin from 2nd place, sheesh, Pecco must find his way again these last two rounds, Martin is at a faster pace, may the best rider be crowned !
Jorge is playing this careful. If he feels he can't win the race or beat Pecco, he need to be just behind him! And the crown will be his. Playing catch up is less riskier than trying to lead and win the race!😆😆

Quartararo had never been very good in the rain but he made an astonishing start. Though, in the first straight line, one could see how slow was the yamaha compare to the ducati pack around...

He had to take more risk because of inferior bike, he was losing on straights (sector 1), gained all that and more in corners, miles ahead of the competition 🙃
