HELLO KEITH, I LIKED YOUR VIDEO, THANKS FOR THE INFO, I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU, CAN YOU TELL ME WHERE IS LOCATED THE FILTER ON IT, I BOUGHT A HOUSE WITH THIS MODEL BUT I DONT HAVE THE HANDBOOK, SO IN MY REFRIGERATOR DOORS I HAVE A RED WARNIG LIKE A BLOCK SYMBOL, SOMEONE TOLD ME I HAD TO REPLACE THE FILTER BUT I DONT KNOW WHERE IS LOCATED.
Hey Davison, I'm not sure about the filter location, unfortunately... You can to Google your model number and it should retrieve the manual for you. A search term something like "Samsung model XXXXXXX manual" should get you the digital manual you're looking for. I hope this helps!
@@keithgagne oh, thank u so much, yes i did it, and found it, is located on the back of the refrigerator , outside, different from the new models that has it inside ,between the draws.
Behind fridge is a panel on bottom. Unscrew and there are 2 plastic tubes that drain into a pan. Disconnect top part of tube. You may get a gush of water coming out. Clean plastic tube if needed.Clean and pour hot water down to make sure it’s flowing but not to much.
So far it's still working well. The tell a tale sign for me when it's starting to freeze up again is water on the bottom below where the crispers slide in. I'm not seeing any water buildup yet. I'm going to try to do a follow up in a few months or whenever it's colder out so I don't need to move all my food to another fridge.
Yeah… Video settings fail… will attempt to rectify this in the future. Thanks for the comment. Honestly thought I wasn’t doing anything wrong but I got a bunch of comments about it!

Where is part 2 did it work
It seems to have worked. Since I put in the wire, it was fine for about 1.5 years. Sold the house after that and wasn’t able to make a part 2…

I’m glad I could help!
Where does the drain go? I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out where it drains to
I’m not sure. There may be a pan at the bottom somewhere and it just evaporated naturally from the heat of the unit operating.
