      Did you check if you are getting lpg out of the injector? This system uses a throttle body injector. To see if you are looaing fuel spray a bit of brake cleaner into the intake tube while cranking and see if it starts, if it does you are loosing fuel.

    Very technical, that's how you know you know what you are doing. Genius! I'm not technical at all but I figure them out. Btw. Your tech needs training, that's basic stuff. Lol. Just a FYI a warmed up k21 or k25 will run with 1 cylinder.

  • @jerryking1434
    @jerryking1434 4 роки тому

    Ok...so if asked ...what caused the cylinders to loose their compression...i saw that you adjusted out the pushrods...but what caused this situation...I could see the adjusters getting loose and backing off ...but not tightening themselves up ...???

    • @forkliftgeek10
      @forkliftgeek10  4 роки тому +1

      As this is a truck that was sent in by one of our field techs, I did not have any history about this truck other than what the tech told me. I also believe that this is not a natural phenomenon(or at least I've never seen then tighten by themselves). My best guess is someone tried to play mechanic when it started running poorly and misadjuated the valve clearance.

    Great job and so inspiring to look at your vids + you learn. When the engine clicking is that almost always the valves? And why the clicking sound?

    • @forkliftgeek10
      @forkliftgeek10  3 роки тому

      The clicking sound is because there is too much clearance between the rocker and the valve.

    Nice job. I'm starting as a forklift road service tech in a couple weeks. Is a Picoscope an essential tool in this field? I know there's other ways to get to the same solution And I know how expensive one is!

    • @forkliftgeek10
      @forkliftgeek10  4 роки тому +1

      It would be very helpful to have an oscilloscope. Like you said there are other ways of arriving at the same conclusion, it's just takes less time when using a scope in my opinion. Today's forklifts have more electronics and relies on sensors that are too fast for a basic multimeter.

Hopefully they'll pay you for your drive time as well. ....and as far as tools if you do a lot of electric lifts you'll definitely need a fluke meter and for LP's a power probe will come handy as well. Oh and get yourself a set of 4 way angle wrenches for them hydraulic lines trust me on that one.

    So I'm currently working on the Mitsubishi fg25n with this same k21. Initially had the E-43 code when I acquired the project and is currently a crank no start exactly like this. Itll pop over on starting fluid. And it seems to have fuel up to the primary injector. Is there a good way to test the injector? I'm basically new with this lpg stuff.

    • @forkliftgeek10
      @forkliftgeek10  4 роки тому +1

      You could take it out of the holder and see if it shoots out lpg.

      @@forkliftgeek10 I'll have a look at her again today and see if that can be done. It seems like the primary injector is bolted to th intake where the lp line is ran. Maybe a guy can see lp with the intake horn off?

      @@gnarlytaco6604 you can take the injector holder out with the injectors by taking out the four bolts that fasten it to the throttle body. When cranking the injector would start to spray lpg.

    • @forkliftgeek10
      @forkliftgeek10  4 роки тому

      Ok. The ground for the distributor is through the body of the distributor. The other wire into it is not a ground but a signal wire to the rev switch which controls the lpg relay. The positive to the fuel system only goes through the fuse then to the select switch. Make sure the switch is flipped to use gasoline and not lpg.
