The only criticism I have is that the name Israel didn’t exist. The inhabitants of Canaan were natives despite settlers from nearby nations. Today the new establishment of Israel is inhabited foreigners from around the world. The ancient name should have been used, the names were many, but Israel wasn’t one of them. Examples are Yehudei (Judah). Bet Ḥumri aka Shamerayin/Semirin (Samaria) is West Bank. But I get it, people of today may not understand the reference, so “Israel” was used.
