Windows Vista itself is the most underrated piece of software in history. I still use Vista on a daily basis on my Dell Precision T3610 with absolutely no issues whatsoever. In fact, it boots up faster than Windows 7 does as I triple boot Windows 11, Windows Vista and Windows 7. Vista performs the best out of all 3 on this computer and anyone who hates Windows Vista is ignorant as they have never actually used it or tried to use it on terrible hardware. In my opinion, (dare I say it) it is the best Windows as it literally laid down the foundation for all modern Windows OSes that came after it and is the first truly modern Windows. Windows Vista even today feels far more modern than Windows XP and it's aesthetic has aged like fine wine and is still the best looking Windows to date. On hardware 2008 onward, Vista's performance was basically on par with Windows XP but mob mentality is what killed it in the end.

So true. Both 7 and Vista are better than XP. XP is way too old and basic for me. I've used it when I was a child and Vista and 7 are massive improvements over it.
