Man, I've seen a lot of donghuas. Swallowed star, btth, soul land..... All great stories and great characters. But this donghua just hits different. It's made different, the characters all have depth, the animation is motion capture i think, so because of that, facial expressions are so real. The story touches the heart. The narration is next level. This donghua is on an entirely different level from all the great donghuas. It's the greatest of the great. I simply loved watching it. So many emotions, so many adventures, so many laughs, so many tears. Whoever wrote this and whoever made the donghua, I salute you. It is my number 1 donghua hands down. A real cultivation story. Beautiful.

凡人修仙传的老书迷前来留言，动漫的制作和故事的铺垫真的有极力还原原著。里面有些故事还蕴含许多道理。到底何为凡人何为仙人，韩立一身都在追寻这个答案，凡人有七情六欲但是寿命寥寥百年，仙人仙风道骨能与天同寿，但也斩断了为人的所有情感。但终究修仙者又有几人能逆天而行与天同寿呢。回过头看，凡人，仙人本质都一样，只是对不同事物的追求不同罢了。
谁跟你说仙人需要斩断凡人情感的，除了修炼太上忘情一道，没听说过哪个仙人需要断情，即便仙人也需要竞争修炼资源，既有竞争，就不可能断情
即使离欲，也不忘情，不过是放下而不执著，非断情绝爱。
二次重溫這合輯，對蒙山五友感到一絲感動呢，雖然實力平庸，但卻盡心盡力的豁出去幫忙，四兄弟齊心合力，真心付出下也獲得了不少回報，這樣的支線小故事好暖心。
好看的修真小说也不少，但以动漫形式来呈现，效果却未必好。
这部真的是绝佳！！！

Hands down the best donghua out there. So much emotions.. man, it made me feel really sentimental, the sacrafices and actions he took are very real, i felt really bad for the mo girl... but this novel shows a true cultivation life, you cant have everything in this world. All those flash back of his friends and family was really sad, made me feel so much emotion. Epic anime.
Normal girl can only survive 100 years. There is nothing Han can do.

This is one of the best Wuxia series I've seen, amazing graphic, animation, story and character.
The best part about this is that, its perfect for people that are new to Wuxia fantasy series, this series simply show how he started out as a regular human, and ascending each step to become an immortal.
Chinese may characterize it as Xianxia instead of Wuxia.

This is not Wuxia, only the first couple of series may be Wuxia, in the next series until the end, the main character is looking for becoming immortal, any thing rather than human martial arts related, it will be Xianxia 😂

Edit: I've watched until episode 72. The story is excellent too. A mixture of all human emotions. Unlike most other stories, this story really showed how long, ardous, lonely and difficult the road to immortality is. Waiting for next season..good job to the author and especially to the animation team. This is gold.👍
Magnificent anime, flawless. One of the greatest tales I’ve come to enjoy.
In particular, the suffering of nostalgia and longing for persons the main character cannot be with in the ways he wants, is very well portrayed. Despite being about immortality, this is indeed a most human story.
yes, im very invested and got abit emotional from time to time. only drawback is that lady mo and senior cheng look like twins i cant tell one from another. luckily the later new lady characters modelling got better

For everyone wondering about the lack of English subtitles around 14 hours 10 minutes in, they reappear about 30 minutes later. Much of that time is spent in battle scenes, with some interactions at that point where the video provides enough meaning about what they're saying. You'll have to slow down or pause that last minute or two in order to read the English translation of what I'd call "end notes".
