That thing hammers! I ran a 17'.9'' Hydrostream V-King for a couple of years. I was running a 2.4 200 Mercury on it all punched out. I ran a 91.8 MPH run one night but I had my buddies 26 pitch Mazco prop. If i was running my 30 pitch cleaver it would of skipped into the hundreds, probably 101-102 MPH? We have three now, a 2010 black metal flake V-King, a dark navy and gold metal flake Vector and a blue and black metal flake V-King YT it has a tunnel hull bottom. All run punched out 200 Mercury's. One has a 2.4 EFI, one has a 2.4 and the other a 2.5 all skipping right around a hundred MPH, depending on weather and water conditions.
Maybe there's a little more to be had with better batteries, or different props, I don't know, but this was flat out a few times on the current setup, yes:)
+Diego Wolff In the 4s test I'm using 2 batteries that are 4s each, one battery for each ESC. In the 6s test I'm using 4 batteries that are 3s each, meaning one pair for each ESC.
+Casper xMapop I haven't made any exact calculations, but with all the upgrades, I'd guess the equivalent of something like 1200 USD. That's not counting batteries, since I use those for numerous other projects, as well.
goddamn, all I have is a wildcat ep stock and 3 3s batteries. Used to have an all carbon fiber and purple billet aluminum car i sold for WAY to cheap. Im craving something so much faster right now its not even funny, whats holding me back is I am only 15 and well cant get a job till i am 16 and still have to pay for gas...
+Casper xMapop The main thing is to have projects, to twist you brain thinking of soulutions to all those little problems, and then being able to go out and enjoy the fresh air :) Complexity and expense will come as you grow older:)

Partykristian bloody loved it bro, can't wait to put my x2 boats back in the water.
The thing with Rc boat folk is we think the brushless motors are music to our ears, not music we can go watch on you tube.

+Diego Wolff Hi, the intro to the video details the components:)
