Fun fact with a teeny tiny spoiler:
In the previous episode, specifically when Lucifer meets Vaggie, he keeps looking at the top of her head right after hugging her. That's because Lucifer could tell that she's an angel and seemed to be looking for her halo.
Really? I mean... I did notice his eyes, but I just assumed it was because he was acting awkward as he was just meeting his daughter's girlfriend soon after she came out to him. But if he was really looking for a halo... wow... Vaggie was really lucky that Lucifer didn't blow up her secret accidently.
Poor sir Pentious. All he wanted was to taste some cherries 😂

17:11 FINALLY someone that understand Sera and what she's doing, most people just see her almost as bad as Adam. she just does what she thinks is the best for her people and she wasnt even the person that came up with the idea, it was Adam that told her and probably had some lies to convince her
I have been saying this too tbh. While I never understood why her and the other Elder Angels never told Adam he was wrong to be so obnoxious and bratty, Sera was genuinely just trying to keep the human souls and their realm safe and was honestly fearful of a rebellion from Hell. It was Adam who proposed the idea of exterminations as he said, but it was never stated that the fear of an uprising was caused by him. That likely stemmed from the fact that Lilith had helped Hell grow into power more over time and I would think the Angels became nervous about it before Adam proposed his idea, but I disagree that he spread lies about an uprising as the fear for it was likely already there in the first place. He was just putting forth an idea to quell it (and prolly cuz he was bored). Plus when you think about it, Adam (and the Angels apparently) do genuinely believe that Hell is Forever as no Sinner has ever achieved redemption, so it makes sense why they would believe that for so long. Adam is just really hellbent on it and I'm quite certain he has developed cult mentality over it too, since he refuses to listen to reason. He's too stubborn and bratty for his own good xD. But overall, I do agree with you.
Lucifer was banished from heaven. So being confused about seeing his daughter is reasonable.
And St Peter has the list of which souls are allowed in heaven.
Since Charlie isn't dead, they weren't on the list.
But as soon as he was told they were expecting Charlie, he welcomed them no problem.
There have been rumors swirling around that Emily will end up fallen as it was foreshadowing, and until recently a lot of them made sense but were rumors, but the other day one of the voice actors posted a pic of the script and it said Emily was in hell helping Charlie, so looks like it might actually happen

Emily being in Hell helping Charlie doesn't mean she will fall. Maybe... there's another reason for that. Don't forget that angels can travel to Hell. Since Emily was one of the angels that saw the potential in Charlie's idea of redeeming damned souls to counter Hell's overpopulation, she will try to give her a hand.

Great reaction doods! I have had personal speculation that half the reason Adam is the obnoxiously narcissistic, bratty villain he is, is because the Angels just let him get that way over time. In a lot of ways he was basically Heaven's nepo-baby and just glorified the fact that he was the First Man to him and he only became this way after thousands of years being there. I also speculated that he wasn't always like this (he could've had more very mild ego in the past) either. But, it does stand to reason that Adam is a frustrating issue and I honestly don't get why the Angels never told him he was wrong to be so obnoxious (exterminations aside). I'm glad you guys seem to be enjoying the show! :)
They kinda respect him for being the first man into heaven. They don't even know how he was granted the pass so that maybe means something to them
@@yf4885 They do respect that but its still kinda bad that some of them apparently dont know whats going on. even if being the Father of humankind was a good thing, he was spoiled way too much and it seems implied he may not have eaten the apple at all either. Just some speculation but it kinda seems like he was given too many freedoms, hence why i think his title was over-glorified. I get what you mean tho

Totally. She is the embodiment of all the things angels are believed to be: kind, fair, happy... Her personality is the foil to Sera's more pragmatic and callous demeanor, something that is reflected on their respective roles in Heaven: Sera is responsible for the safety of Heaven, while Emily keeps all the souls there happy.

Yeah the 2 reasons voice actors were changed between the pilot and the show are bc 1 it was a pilot stuff is subject to change and 2 they wanted it musically trained actors bc the show is a musical.
