I am just glad that people like Ralph is a car owner who takes care of such masterpieces of engineering. And they have to be treated like that. Collect the rarest of rare, and make the world recognize finally cars are art...which most of the world could care less but should understand the hard work, heroic embodiment that goes into these one off pieces of art.. and to own and drive them? Or find them piece by piece and restore the story each one told?
I like how a couple people bitch about them not being driven. I just got T-boned by an old lady and it totaled my 63 Impala....... it was worth 15k on a good day. So driving a 30+ million dollar car and taking the risk of it being taken away from people to enjoy in the future isn't a fucking option people. JMO though.
Nice choice, but if you want to steal something way more valuable, then go for his 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic. There are only two, and go for about 30-40 million. Plus it isn't every day you can drive a car made out of magnesium.
This is a slideshow full of zooms and pans I would expect a middle schooler to make of the 60s f100 in his dads garage not a buff book of one of the greatest car collections in the world.
in comparison to Jay Leno's garage, this sort of treatment of the cars is sort of perverse. they are not driven but rather just looked at and worshiped for whatever "significance" that they may have written down on a plaque next to each car. they will be passed on from generation to generation as just that without anyone actually having the joy of driving them, feeling the true essence of every car and finding out that the experience is greater than any words that may be put on a plaque.
The difference between Lauren and Leno is this: Laurens: Bugatti 57sc = $35 mill+ (mint, original, 1 of 2 ever made) Lenos: Bugatti 57sc = $500k - $1 mill...maybe... (Recreation, although an almost perfect one though with a few minor updated features) which would you feel more confident driving through town?

the 250 GTO is worth about the same. Come to think of it, they didn't show a car that wasn't pushing at least 2-3 million
Actually there are 4 of type 57sc the last 1 is missing and it costs 100 million dollars
