Thanks for posting. Let’s remember that this is for nostalgia’s sake, and not a demonstration of precision singing. Listen to the original recordings. You will hear precision. And in his prime, Bill was one of the best tenors ever!
I'm old enough to not remember all the names of the old, 1950s-1970s quartets. But these guys are probably the best. Give me some other name, I'll put them in my library. GLENN
he sang the masters v The Masters Five, "First Day In Heaven"; (10) The Masters Five, "Victory In Jesus"; (11) The Masters Five, "Just A Little Talk With Jesus and one song is lost from the blackwoodbrothers he sang Old Time Religion (In My Heart)";
For some reason as they got older they seemed to have that issue. If you watch alot of videos of them at reunion shows this occurred but it seemed to not be on every song
Cecil Blackwood died in 2000 with cancer. That could have been why he wasn't singing up to par! He was a wonderful singer, sharp dresser, and always had a smile on his face!💖
Bill Shaw... The Greatest..!!‼️‼️‼️

Very true. I know James had issues after his stroke and Bill wasn't in a group anymore at this point.

Yes, old. These four were the lineup 1954 - 1965.
