- I love a good living room subwoofer. Today we are talking about one of my favorite REL subs the T5X a powerful but clean and fun 8" with great build quaility..and sharp heat sinks as you'll see lol. The REL T5X and T7X should be a serious consideration for any living room system or smaller audio system. Such a great fit. Such a great looking and compact box for such quality and price.

I have one of these and they are pretty awesome. The only thing I don’t like is the sound it makes when it switches off. So loud!
Grounding issue...not supposed to do that really
@@TheaterAdvice_FCAV thanks I’ll have a look. Is uk plug so has built in ground so not normally an issue. Will definitely take a closer look
Great video on the relt5x. Question for you. Currently have Totem Tribes Towers which according to their specs goes down to 30 hz. The Rel T5X sub rated at 32 hz. So do I need a sub if my speakers go lower than my sub? Thanks
Cool speakers...not sure if I believe they go down to 30hz really but lots of speakers embelish....the sub will add WAYH more depth

Dude I am so disappointed with this video. I was expecting an detailed review on how they sound. I don’t thing you even mentioned anything about the sound quality. Are you in any way able to edit this video and add your thoughts on the actual sound please.
It's a tiny sub...so it's tight and clean. I wouldn't have reviewd it if I didn't think it sounded good. I literally called the video one of the best LR subs...lol. I can't play it in the video they flag it. So I talk features etc. Of course it sounds good. I am gonig to do calibration videos at some point on how to make them sound their best. But you sort of missed the point.
I am sorry you didn't like the video though. I do work hard on them and go unscripted so it's raw and real. So I don't always cover everything. Super hard to take the time to script etc. I talk on youtube like I talk in person with a client. So there will be good and bad with the content.
