It's really amazing how easy you made the game looked like. I quit the game after I got penetrated by the spear horse dudes and dragged across the ground over and over again. I wish there was move which you could dismount them and shove the spear right into the horses' ass. But that sounds more like a Kamiya game rather than a Team Ninja game lol.
I would say black, most its the same on both but its easier to counter parry berserkers on sigma, plus you got extra costumes and helmets to deal more damage or defense
They all have parts of each that by themselves is harder than the other two. For instance NG04 Ryu is rarely truly safe off many attacks, no camera control, enemies have way more health and deal more damage but lack grabs and there are no higher tier enemies like cats, ogres, etc. Black has all those new enemies but they made Ryu a lot more capable and you can charge UTs, upgrades are cheaper but items are swapped out on higher modes to compensate. Sigma has some of the NG04 stuff like higher damage and more accurate projectile enemies, the new roll mechanics are not as good as the other two as well and no early chucks or Lunar in chapter 1. Berserkers are completely different as well, some bosses are easier too. The on the fly item use and in the MC equipment is a huge buff though and practically eliminates the "one mistake and you're dead" situations as long as you have items. I'd say overall Sigma is the easiest, then NG04 and then Black but you could really make a case for it any way if you wanted to.
@@JayTB123 i believe if u dont use costumes and boost items, sigma is harder than black just cause there are more missions, and berserks are way harder in sigma, and u also have rachel in the game which many people struggle to play with

So I've been curious. Which ninja gaiden 1 version is the hardest? Black or sigma?

both are harder in different points......for myself I believe sigma is a little harder than black but not by much
