Isn't there a self-driving tram prototype in Potsdam? I thought Siemens was doing tests with one the Combino's to let it drive without a tram driver. Bad news for tram drivers of course ;-)
the answer from milan is wrong and right. Yes, we have this "Prototyp" in our fleet but it wasn't a prototype till the last 2 years. It was a tram which were used at an expo to show the potential customers what siemens could build with his "combinos". And Potsdam got it after all expos. 2 years ago this tram was upgraded with cameras and sensor technologies from siemens into the self-driving prototype. And its doing very well.
