Best part is blackpink are humble queens hoping they would at least have a couple fans and didn’t expect a crowd or anybody to know their music... they really are too good for this world my dude!
The Band Six are INSANELY good. They were brought together as BIGBANG's band since their 2012 Alive Tour and the additional color they provided to their already great songs is unreal. You need to check out BIGBANG live in some spare time to see that synergy. They are definitely part of the reason I always bought BIGBANG live dvds. I'm super happy that Blackpink seemed to "inherit" them 😂.
YG has a band called BAND SIX that follows the artists during their concerts. The songs are so rearranged for bands and this is why is extremely dynamic and exciting.
If you haven't yet, you should watch/react to their interview with Zach Sang. He does really excellent interviews, and I'm always blown away by how good they are. He doesn't treat them like a novelty. It's true with any of the artists he interviews, but especially with kpop groups. When you compare his interviews with the others that have been done, he's just miles and miles ahead. I would seriously suggest watching his interview for ANY of your favorite artists, but blackpink interviews are so rare that it's an extra special delight to watch them with him.
The girls really slayed at Coachella with their energy. Both week 1 and week 2 performance was amazing!! Please watch the full live streamed performance by coachella if you can (you can find the whole 1 hour livestream on youtube). Blackpink performed 13 songs in 1 hour with only a short break in between..I couldn't be more proud of these girls. They managed to hype the crowd and overcome any language and cultural barrier through their performance. And when they performed their second to last song, Boombayah, it sounded like the whole crowd was chanting along to "Blackpink in your area" which really gave me goosebumps. I loved every moment of it, even the small interactions with the crowd. 😍 🖤💖
