I made a comment on your “What even is a polyrhythm?” tutorial about how useful I find your vocalizations . When you introduced another one here at 3:57 I had to track it down. It took me through Kolady and Takadimi to finally, the right answer, Konnakol. I'll stick with "Ta ki ta," but keep including vocalizations for followers like me. Fellow Amy fans, I became a Patreon patron of hers because I'm learning so much from her videos. Consider becoming a patron, too, for as little as $1.50 a month
Thanks so much Paul! Yes konnakol is so helpful in eliminating the need to keep constantly counting and engaging that rational part of the brain too much 😊 I'm not really using konnakol here, but borrowing syllables that help me
You are so clearly to your explanations, i finally realized what the number of rhythms is! I am very beginner Handpan player and i needed that. Thank you Amy, you are just incredible!❤🙏
Explaining that One doesn't have to understand but can feel the time signature is a wonderful thing for those of us who don't have any formal education in music. Thanks for making us better players. 😎🙏
