Got to be one of the best lookalikes on the show. And i was shocked at how well he sang. Obviously living up to Pavarotti is always going to be impossible
Absolute straight-up legend, bringing loud beardy joy to successive generations. Brian Blessed and Tom Baker should do a live mad-off against each other, to see who really is King Mad.
National treasure- he could easily have trained as an opera singer- great voice and looks the spit of him - he could and should have been cast as him in a film of Pavarottis life 👍🏻🍻👏🏻👏🏻
~This good to watch as we know how entertaining and charming Brian is, he is also one of our Greatest Actors and this is so interesting to see his love of animals, what a fabulous voice you have too.
Hello Keegan, my partner and I were extremely fortunate to see him the other day, he was absolutely brilliant. But at the end of his interview he fell over, how is he doing now please?
I met him last week at the Royal Geographical Society , London and I talked with him after the lecture- what a great man! Genuine and very very funny. He left school at 14 and got everything through sheer effort and hard work. He is 72 and he went up to 90,000 feet in a mig 29 this year in preparation for his flight into space with the Russians in 2009.
I love Brian Blessed and despite being very old he still does it for me (Do not tell my partner!). Such an attractive man inside and out. I can imagine he could tell such great stories. The beard! The voice! And the pets! I always prefer people who like animals. I don't know why. I just do.
He’s absolutely brilliant!! Who is that misery in the audience? It’s a pity she’s there at all. Brian’s singing probably made the roof jump on its rafters! He has so much energy, we should attach him to the National grid!
Thanks for uploading this. Brian Blessed rocks. Me and my sister were just trying to guess who he'd be and our first thoughts were Pavarotti. R.I.P Pavarotti.
A larger than life gentleman! I adore this man. The world seems to have lost it`s gentle eccentrics, as being `different` seems to be frowned upon nowadays. Brian is a man who has had a go at most things... and succeeded! The world has been blessed, to have had Brian Blessed.
I just shut my eyes while listening to that, and for a brief moment I actually couldn't tell, that this wasn't the great man himself. Pavarotti was a genius, and I would genuinely have loved to see him duet with Brian. It would have been like watching him in stereo!
What a guy. Went to see him doing his one man show in Scunthorpe last night and he was brilliant and inspiring...at the age of 81. He told the story of doing this and also the same sound effect story from Flash Gordon.
I remember reading about this in his Book Absolute Pandemonium. He could have gone into Opera but he loved acting more. I love this dude. Gordon's Alive
I remember watching this at the time and was knocked out! The great visual likeness, but to even come that close to his voice (for a non opera singer) was amazing
Fought the evil empire in Star Wars? I believe you'll find that was the Trade Federation...honestly Cat Deeley, next you'll be confusing the second sun of Tatooine with the Forest moon of Endor.
Saw his show a couple of nights ago in Warrington so tracked this down. I admire Brian so much because of his confidence, fearlessness, drive and good natured fuckoffness. His dad lived to be 101 despite being a miner. He is only 82. I like to think he will outlive us all. Unless he DOES go to Mars, as he seems to think he's on the verge of doing! That might see him off.
If I could only meet one famous person, I would choose Brian Blessed. He's awesome.
my uncle brian is very talented and much loved by family and friends! thank you for your support
A man full of life
He's just done a podcast with Richard Herring, go listen it's hilarious.
Same, I'd love to be Blessed with his presence.

I wish I had a quarter of his energy. What a living legend. Long may you continue Brian.
Honestly, this man may be one of the greatest treasures that this nation has EVER produced. He's such an amazing human being!
Got to be one of the best lookalikes on the show. And i was shocked at how well he sang. Obviously living up to Pavarotti is always going to be impossible
I expected he could sing... but never expected that! Truly incredible talent :)
trained opera singer but went into acting instead.
Saw him live last night, aged 82 and did a short burst of this song and damn.... he’s still got it
Brian Blessed is 36 years my senior and I hope he outlives me because the world will be lesser without him.
Which pixel was brian?
+Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart The loudest.
Nice, I like that one.
You'll have to speak up. Ludwig Beethoven can't hear you.
You're one to talk, they didn't even have pixels when you were tickling your ivories.
Mushroom Head how you gonna do my boy Ludwig like that 😂
I've loved him since he was Fancy Smith in Z-Cars and I still do. This is a marvellous clip of one of Britain's most talented actors. Thankyou
He actually sings quite well! He's amazing, and so full of life!
Brian Blessed is just a gift to humanity, we can all aspire to be a little more like him. Class act.
i love brian....
is anyone else THAT awesome?!?!!!
Is there ANYTHING Brian Blessed can't do without excelling himself? He is AMAZING!
Have always loved this man - kind and loud and funny. He always brings a smile to the face XD
on my bucket list....to goose brian blessed...:)
what a dude... gives 100% every time ... great voice too...:)
What an amazingly kind and gentle man. And such energy, a pleasure to watch. Why can't everybody in the world be like this?
The guy is a living legend and a national treasure. I hope I have half his energy when I'm his age!
Brian Blessed just loves being Brian Blessed :)
Absolute straight-up legend, bringing loud beardy joy to successive generations. Brian Blessed and Tom Baker should do a live mad-off against each other, to see who really is King Mad.
Amazing. I had no idea he could sing so well. Bravo, Blessed!
National treasure- he could easily have trained as an opera singer- great voice and looks the spit of him - he could and should have been cast as him in a film of Pavarottis life 👍🏻🍻👏🏻👏🏻
He did train as an opera singer - he just chose acting instead.

my uncle brian has an amazing voice! always makes me cry when he sings! my hero!
He's pretty darned good!
Hello Keegan, my partner and I were extremely fortunate to see him the other day, he was absolutely brilliant. But at the end of his interview he fell over, how is he doing now please?
I shudder to think what could have been, if he'd been given lessons since childhood.
Brian Blessed is a legend.
This was actually brilliant. Brian Blessed you legend, what a man :D
What a star!
If they ever decide to make a film about Pavarotti they need to call Brian Blessed. The resemblance is uncanny!
I literally thought that’s who I saw in the thumbnail at first.
Tonight - Pavarotti is going to be Brian blessed.
Great job, with a resonant voice like his I’m surprised he hasn’t sung more
What a voice!!!!
If you listen on a quiet night you can still here Brian's voice
Amazing, this guy has really lived life to the full
That microphone wasn't really necessary now, was it?
Best comment
😂 Best comment 🤣👍
I love how he clearly loves what he does. And yet is so sweet about everything. Whilst being so hilarious at the same time.

Wow what a voice singing the opera
He's not got a bad voice, very well done. He did the great Pavarotti proud.
Brian Blessed is still awesome and shall always be awesome!! At least in my eyes;)
That was brilliant, and he loves animals. I love him even more now. Good on you Brian!
I love Brian Blessed and despite being very old he still does it for me (Do not tell my partner!). Such an attractive man inside and out. I can imagine he could tell such great stories. The beard! The voice! And the pets! I always prefer people who like animals. I don't know why. I just do.
I always thought the resemblance was uncanny... right down to their larger-than-life presence.
He’s absolutely brilliant!! Who is that misery in the audience? It’s a pity she’s there at all.
Brian’s singing probably made the roof jump on its rafters! He has so much energy, we should attach him to the National grid!
Brian Blessed, larger than life, lover of life. What a man.
I think I've discovered Brian Blessed's secret! His boundless Energy is a by-product of him being a god spending extended stretches in human form!
Thanks for uploading this. Brian Blessed rocks. Me and my sister were just trying to guess who he'd be and our first thoughts were Pavarotti. R.I.P Pavarotti.
Brian Blessed indeed. He's truly blessed actor. =)
Brian Blessed was 67 here. Pavarotti's was 69 during his last live performance. Pretty damn impressive.
A larger than life gentleman! I adore this man. The world seems to have lost it`s gentle eccentrics, as being `different` seems to be frowned upon nowadays. Brian is a man who has had a go at most things... and succeeded! The world has been blessed, to have had Brian Blessed.

Oh my god! He is terrific! What a magnificent voice!

I love the way he embraces his breakthrough role as Prince Vultan of the Hawkmen.
The SOB could actually sing.

I just shut my eyes while listening to that, and for a brief moment I actually couldn't tell, that this wasn't the great man himself. Pavarotti was a genius, and I would genuinely have loved to see him duet with Brian. It would have been like watching him in stereo!

Knighted!! That's not good enough, give him the crown, Long Live King Brian Blessed.

I adore Brian Blessed so much, what a treasure he is!

This actor is great. Love how he played the King in The Black Adder. :D

The captions on O Sole Mio are friggin' hilarious. Brian, Brava!!!

That might see him off.
What a wonderful man. A true inspiration.
Your brilliant Brian,National Treasure personified
I don't even care about the sparse pixelation and staggering framerate; Brian breathes so much life into the camera.
Awesome job by Brian Blessed, singing opera is very difficult to do.

BRIAN BLESSED is one of those people that will probably/hopefully live on forever, just like Shakespear. Such. A. Personality.
