Ohhh Man.. Do I feel bad... For this gourmet sandwich, I wanted to suggest a gourmet mayonnaise from Japan, all the UA-cam cooks when they use mayonnaise in their creations they use Japanese mayonnaise, the stuff is fantastic.... It adds some sweetness to the traditional mayonnaise we are used to consuming. Also, an egg salad sandwich in addition to salt should have pepper. If you're going to make a gourmet egg salad sandwich you really need to go all the way... You guys 🙂

like i mentioned in a previous video, in asia people genierally eat pidan or century egg in something very very bland like congee. the super salty fermented egg actually pairs well in such dishes. nobody eats them straight or either really in salads that i know of. look up Century Egg Congee with Chicken (皮蛋瘦肉粥) of Century Egg and Pork Congee (皮蛋瘦肉粥) on youtube. that's how most of the world eats them, & usually you only eat a few pieces or slivers, not nearly the whole thing.

@@aaronfalzerano9432 spent half my life in asia, so have also come to enjoy a little in plain rice, but its best in congee. the blandness just defuses the intense saltiness, etc., so long as you just eat little pieces. "stinky tofu" is very good too imho .
