I hope you don't mind too much we skip the review. You guys are doing great and we thoroughly enjoyed getting into the content as you released it. I know you have to take breaks and go away and stuff and that's why these things are attractive, and I hope that some people come to your channel as a result of seeing this. But we haven't missed anything since you went to Panama. Éxitos y bendiciones!
This is a team of true craftsmen. I love how they create low tech but highly effective solutions using what can be sourced. It’s incredible what they have achieved. The turret looks great.
You should get a Visitor's Book and get all the tradespeople and anyone who worked on your property, to sign it and leave a short message, so you can have that forever. Superb workmanship on the roof by these guys and yourselves. Just awesome!
Loved seeing the before and after of the turret. It is more elegant with the taller turret and love the glass letting in light. Your builders did a fabulous job. Really looking forward to seeing you creating the interiors.❤
The best part of my Sunday mornings, hanging out with Brittany and Drew while sipping on a cup of "Morning Movement" coffee. I love my UA-camrs. Greeetings from San DIego❤
Unless you show the whole process in lifting and redesigning the turret roof in one video, no one would really see how difficult, complicated and genius the rebuild actually was. The work your friends/contractors and Drew did was nothing short of amazing. Your turret roof is truly a work of art. 🥰
Love how good you are looking after the cats - All three are so relaxed and healthy looking. That roof lift was a great idea! The mermaid is going to look fabulous on top of it♦♦♥
I loved the long format video! I was born in Lisbon, now living in Ontario, Canada. The turret transformation is beautiful and I love that you kept the original design by the original owners. Also, may I add your Portuguese is coming along really well!! Loved this episode.....cheers from Canada!
OK, not goggling, the muscles in that guy's legs with a black shorts on... WOW. Brittany, not so sure I could have watched them moving that ginormous heavy turret, scary stuff. Your workers are absolutely artesians. Above and beyond that they are a powerhouse..... ❤
Now, I understand, this repetition is about watching the whole turret process in one video. It brings a wider understanding. Congrats to the Ukraine team! Thanking for sharing. 🇨🇷
Yay! Sunday Funday with Drew, Brittany, the kitties, and the awesome building crew. Lots of love from Vermont! (And Drew, here's how I remember which is which, cement is the GLUE, it's what sticks the gravel and sand together, concrete is the concretion once it's all stuck together. Hope that works for you too.)
Nice.....Recap / Time-lapse. It's great to have this entire project all in one video. Turret....Before and After. > Those Glass block windows are amazing... and will let in so much light. > I can't wait to see the Mermaid Up and spinning. 🧜♀ That is very cool....thanks Mom.
Thank you for this wonderful video! I really enjoyed the video and much was not the same. Love your progress on the home and please ignore the ungrateful comments. ❤
I’m so full of admiration for your builders! They are masterful problem solvers! Yes, simplistic techniques often work wonderfully well! I did keep saying,” safety glasses!” I do wonder if they are refugees from the war and how they came to be working on Portugal? Thank you for sharing this amazing adventure with us. A Gram from MO😘
Beautiful! It looks like a twirling skirt as the drone panned around it at the end! So excited watching the discarded old structure be reborn with your creativity and TLC (and the wonderful craftsmanship of the 5⭐️ Ukrainian crew!!). Can’t wait to see the interiors flesh out! What an amazing place to live, especially after having lived in a van for so many years! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Your roofing crew did an excellent job on the round roof. Never having done a round roof before, you would never know it looking at your finished roof. 👏🏻🍾✌🏻❤️🙏🏻🇺🇸PA
Hi from New Zealand, I love the way the tower is looking. The tiles are great and the guys are amazing. Great job, I can’t wait to see your bathroom finished inside. Love your vlog 🥰🥰
It was a great decision to raise the turret roof, put the glass blocks in and let more natural light in to the water mill, also by raising the height, it made the turret look more in proportion with the rest of the building. Looks heaps better the light sand stone finish that the builders have put under where the glass blocks have been installed, is definitely an option for the rest of the modern brick walls
Be sure to put tons of clear concrete sealer over that roof after completion. Freezing and thawing moisture will degrade it as you already know. Beautiful look.
The Turret looking great what a challenge with all your workers lifting very hard work but lovely to look at what an achievement for both of you thank for the video quite amazing work of art enjoy this moment of this project for your future take care a pat for the cats so nice see you soon lovely couple bye
It was cool to see the whole thing of razing the roof, putting in the windows and then finishing off the tiling all in one go. I have seen it all before, but for some that did not see the how or why, they got the whole thing lol Later guys.
Great idea I love it! I've been watching since you came into my UA-cam feed when I was following RV living videos. You were in the Midwest. This type videos are good for new subscribers keep doing them. Maybe even some from van life "seasons". Love what you've done with tge mill. I wish you the best moving forward. (My dream was to live in the middle of nowhere) your location is perfect ✌️
Oh my, I just had a thought! It would have been so beautiful to have pushed the tile dust over top the masa, cement filling, in the ends of the tiles, (○) blending to the roofs continuous color. Maybe next project they build, just a thought. This crew has gotten the best ever exposure for future town project developments. AMAZINGLY WELL DONE JOB !!!!
🐗Time to go Wild Boar Hunting, Drew! @15:00 > So glad you don't have too many around you yet, but they can.... multiply like rabbits If that family says around. > Sows usually have 1 litter per year, although 2 litters per year is possible, young may be born at any time of the year. Litters of feral hogs average 3 to 8 young, but have ranged up to 13. Wild boars usually breed at 18 months. (so those babies...will soon have babies) and where IS the BOAR?
Now you need a round stairway in the turret, to get to that window and to change out the light bulb in your chandelier. I think that would be really neat!!!
Was this a new video or the same one as last week? Everything about the new turret was amazing. The workers were very skilled and it looks like it's built to last for years to come. I hope they enjoyed the special cake, it did look yummy! I can't wait to see those rugs on your soon to be constructed flooring inside the mill.
Turette glass block cleaning idea... STILTS...Drewnyour gonna have to start praticing NOW 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I cant even find the right word for that turreete tile job. FABULOUS GORGEOUSE BEAUTIFUL how about all there OXOXOOX ordwered my new ADVENTURE shirt in maroon color this time cant wait till it gets here.
Never have a eucalyptus overhanging a pool, they drop leaves all year round but particularly in warmer weather. The leaves also decay in water that is not cleaned and refreshed regularly causing 'black water', which is oxygen deprived and toxic to most amphibians.
Just be careful not to leave too much if the old brick exposed or you’ll have a patchwork affect when you’re done that is not only aesthetically yucky since your eye won’t know where to go (focal point), but dysfunctional when it comes to handing artwork. Less is more!
@@Mrandmrsadventure yes I totally agree with the keeping the original walls, how about exterior plaster Adobe look that would blend in with the original mortar and original stones of the mill
Is the Ho.e for the electrical cab,e big enough? I think you’ll need the circumference to be larger so you can fit a conduit sleeve, not just the cable, toprevent wear and tear on the cable and allow fit inevitable swing depending on your chandelier fixture.
One more. 🤭😃🤭 given how much overhang there is, should the roof be higher to accommodate another layer of the block glass to ensure enough light gets in?
Your videos are great and you give and share fantastic vibes to all that watch . I think I have asked you before but will you be rendering the outside of the building or keeping it red brick.
It looks amazing, have the Dutch couple said anything about what you have done to the turret. Are you going to sand the inside where the wood has gone darker. Then treat it with an oil to keep the moisture i

Beautiful. I am sure the previous owners must be really happy to see how the tourelle has been transformed.

Turret makes an enchanting difference to the whole mill home. Fascinating process, spectacular result. 🎇

I can not believe the process and work that has gone into the roof! It is nothing short of magic and extreme knowledge of their craft! They are Gods

I wonder if the previous owners watch your channel and see the amazing transformation, isn't cheaper to build a new house?!
I think your dome was inspired by the previous owners, the Dome of the Pantheon in Rome. pay attention to it 😀
