Congratulations to Chuck, Greg Miller and zombie_ninja207 for winning the giveaway. Thank you all for participating in this giveaway! The official THRUNITE will announce winners and pin comment, please don't trust anyone else (Scammer) thanks.
To be fair there's a reason the Olight's are more expensive. They have great build quality and reliability. They also have more features, like magnetic bases, proximity sensors, magnetic port charging, usability with weapon mounts and pressure switches (in some cases), and accurate output ratings. Watch some testing on the Torque Test channel. The Warrior Mini 2 in particular did great with the drop testing, and was nearly indestructible.

I know first hand that all these are awesome flashlights!!! You get what you pay for and then some!!! I wouldn’t get any other flashlight to be honest!!! I have these lights, but the warrior is my favorite by far! It’s really bright and has a lighter mode and I think that flashing mode too!!! It’s lasts a lot time and it’s durable and the grip is perfect so you don’t have to fumble it. I just thought I would give people my opinion too!!! Hey take care guys!
Nice info. One thing many skip over about the Olights, they have two timers, a 3 min and a 9 min timer. Double click and hold on the second click, you'll see it flash either once or twice, meaning once= 3 min, twice 9 min. It is a VERY useful feature when you're snuggled up in your sleeping bag. You hang it up, turn it on to the power you need, do the double boogie thing, and voila!! It shuts off on its own...LOL Cheers
To be honest, I think the clip is the best part, that most flashlights don’t have. I like a flashlight that you can put on your hat and it will stay put! Durability is a huge plus too, especially if you a flashlight daily!!! I have to use flashlights daily so, having these flashlights are awesome!!! I haven’t gotten the one with the long clip, but I look forward to it. Thank you for introducing these flashlights because they are worth every penny and everyone should check them out! Hey take care!
One thing that I like about Thrunite that I don't like about Olite, is that you can use any 18650 or 21700. Olite makes you dependent on them to buy your batteries. I have lots of 18650 cells, so I will be getting a Thrunite because of that alone.
I've got an old TN12 that I have absolutely abused and it's still going strong. It's been dropped in the conveyor system, ran over in the parking lot, and dropped in a fuel tank (diesel). Was completely happy with the performance running CR123s. Then I switched to 18650s and it's like a whole new light. I recommend it to my students on the regular.

Another great review from Cutlerylover. Great to see other brands in this extensive coverage. All factual, operationally relevant, and constructive comments. Thrunite TN12Pro is a winner indeed in the battle of the brands.

The T3 just adds another dimension to my EDC needs. I own 7 different Thrunite lights. Looks like this will be #8. I’m the most popular grandfather when the power goes out !
I have been using your flashlights the past 4 years. I do need to have a light on my person all the time for my profession. Truck driver. Pre tripping the tractor n trailer requires being able to see problems. I work nights all the time and your lights are my choice. Thanks for a quality product. Todd
I love the giveaways you guys do. Haven’t won yet but someday! I like the TN12 Pro specs. USB C charging and size isn’t overly big but not too small either. Love it!
i love these flashlights with power features and awesome design, it would be a great upgrade to my airsoft gun 👌 thanks for the chance and keep on the nice job 💪
I have the TC12-v2 and it is a good light. I just got the TT20, I think it might be my new favorite. It's shorter & wider (than the TC12-V2) with a larger battery and over 2500 lumens. I also like the simplicity of the tail/side switch functions over that of the TC12-V2. The one downside is cost, when compared to the TC12-V2 or similar, as I believe it costs around $75. Which isn't much, if budget allows, considering the cost of similar lights by other brands. I think the new TN12 Pro lights are about $50, have tail/side switches, the same size battery as the TC12-V2 and its top output is 1900 lumens. I believe that the functions are a little more used friendly on this one as well. I'm getting one of these too 🤷♂😁
Those magnetic ends for the charging port on the olights, come in real hand when you're working on a car or working in a area when you need both your hands.
I think the only "tactical" light here is the tn12 Pro because it IS a "thower" and has a tail switch to instantly get acces to it's 1900/32k cadela. A "tactical light" IMHO MUSt be a thrower....with a defined hotspot/spill (circles)...to function also as a "targetting " aid. Important in zeroing in on a threat or someone your're searching for. Where time is so valuable...franctions of a second matter...don't want to be wasting that hunting for the jubject...if you were using a "foody beam" EDC light.... would love to see thrunite come out with more "thower" style lights.....more candela and distance....i'm referring to 'pocketable lights"...I know you have the Catapult lights (would prefer "stepping" through the modes instead of "infiit ramping" e.g. Catapalt Pro....otherwise great light...
Huh? The thrunite is a thrower light for a sub compact light. What you should be worried about is accidental activation by the side switch of this light. That is the kryptonite of this flashlight.
I had comment twice on this one. My first one was at like 20 seconds in. I just wanna commend thrunite for getting back to their roots. Great lights at half the price of their competitors. Hats off to thrunite.
Great comment on the price points for each, but when was the last time you paid full price? Do you have any information on what the lowest price you’ve seen for each light?
Good luck to all! I loved the comparison, now to decide on one! (although I will surely buy several, this brand in terms of quality does not disappoint).
I've been looking for a flashlight for my Dad for a while. He loves my TC 15, but the switch is tiny and on the side. The TN 12 Pro has a tail switch, and the runtime on turbo is excellent! I think this is what I'll get for him once I get the funds.
Great review, also I just hope Thrunite starts bringing back NW tint options for their lights which are sorely missing with recent releases or atleast introduce new lights with High-CRI leds which would be perfect for photography purposes.
Always been a fan of the TN12, excellent quality at the right price. I’ve got 2 V2(one who went to hell and back) and I gave this model as a gift to family member. Can’t wait to try the Pro with the dual switch.
The hlx is 10 tap reprogramable though. For edc I have mine on low med high. You get used to the usage and I find it handy now. No more remembering which setting I left it on last. Or having to reset my flashlight to a certain brightness before I turn it off every time. And although I do miss some extra functions some of my other lights have, it is super simple only having three modes. And I really love that now. That being said.. I am a "I love all these lights" type of guy. I like that pd35 too.
