    I ordered a 3S last Friday just for the awesome colors of it: DreamBlue&Golden. Or as Amazon Italy calls it: Elf!
    I hope ill have the courage to take it outside! It toke me a few days to bring outside another gorgeous light, a White Seeker4Pro. Olight's anodization is pretty weak.

    For me the Olight warrior 3s is the winner:
    OLIGHT:
    - Instant access to turbo from anywhere
    - From off I can access 4 modes: moonlight, low (memory), medium and turbo
    NITECORE:
    - No turbo from anywhere (no panic-turbo)
    - Can only turn the light on from the back - change grip to access different brightness
    - Can only access 2 modes from off: moonlight and memory
    Other than that I think they are even, and fantastic lights both of them!

      With olight you must edc a fuc.....ing cable, olight ONLY has 800 lumens and chanrges for 120 dolars. Price, body and weight of an 21700 flashligh, light output of an keychain light... SOOOOO disapointing opening the new warrior 3s box, charge to max, and seeing the 2300 lumens not avaliable after 5 min of usage, total gimmick, returned the other day, the main selling point is a lie. No way a light advertised as 2300 lumens, just outputs it from 100% to 80%. For me this should be a crime, total false advertising.

      @@eirikrafnhansen9746 and as I understood, its not the flashlight warrior 3s, is its battery tha has no tech, the nitecore 21700, I think does not fit in others 21700, because it has a tech, dont remember what, but it lets the flashlight drain the battery fast in any charging state/amp/voltage. The other(olight) as the amps is getting low it delivers less power until dead, not the 21700 from nitecore, the downside is nitecores battery may only work with nitecores lights

    Love all your videos in terms of how to use the torches (I'm a pom!) for self defence and the testing- esp how you got your partner to shine the different models in your face to see how effective they were/ease of access to turbo/one tail switch.
    But now you have reviewed so many lights I'm struggling to know how you would rank them currently?? Olight Warrior X$/Weltool T8 plus Pro/Nitecore Mh12 Pro etc. i think they all have the single tail switch access to turbo/momentary switch so how would they compare with the car park test in the eyes do you think??

    We think alike, give me candela with reasonable throw. In my life, I need candela. I don't even carry my Olight WM3 anymore, not enough candela. Weltool gives candela and even in their turbo mode they don't get that hot. Still, the lights you've shown, are outstanding lights that do a lot more than Weltool. It's all what a person wants and needs.

    • @zampination
      @zampination 7 місяців тому

      A light with greater candela or a throwier light is more efficient than a floodier light every time cause you can run that sucker in medium and you'll still get the amount of light you need on a specific spot without getting the light hot and draining the battery by utilizing higher outputs. Now the amount of how large of a hotspot one needs is a personal thing and you have to experiment with lots of differents lights to get the exact size hotspot that will fit your needs. But the secret that only a flashaholic will know is that a relatively throwy light is just way more efficient than something with multiple emitters or something floodier. It also helps to see a lot better in the fog with a throwy hotspot + keeping the light as far away from your line of sight. Some of my favourites would be for example some 14500 pocket rockets like a convoy t2 with the w1 emitter or even the Lumintop fw1aa. 700-900 lumens but these lights touch the 400-500m mark as far as candela goes. And the same goes if you utilise the beast of a led the SBT90.2 which isnt as efficient but if you combine it with the right host like a 35mm head diameter light like the Emisar D1 and you run that at 50% output you got yourself an amazingly bright and efficient combo of a beam with just the right size of a hotspot to be a great edc as well

    • @2fast2block
      @2fast2block 7 місяців тому +1

      @@zampination "Now the amount of how large of a hotspot one needs is a personal thing" So true. Typically, I don't need a lot of angle of view with just about all of it the same brightness; I need a decent amount of angle only but what I'm actually focusing on, I want a light that varies in candela from low to high candela. Often too much candela is blinding, but also often, much candela is needed. Out of all the lights I have, I carry the Weltool T8 Plus certainly most the time. It's about as perfect as they come for me.

      To much pride for traditional/standard "type-c" charging port. Grow up people, learn to accept new innovation for technical convenience. By the way, USB Type-C contacts wears out over time, and difficult to clean the inner contacts. Moist or water gets in, then soon an electrochemical corrosion will build up causing poor contacts or loose connection. You won't really notice every time you charge your type-c devices a voltage drop occurs, causing poor charging.
      Believe me, I'm not against USB Type-C, because all my rechargeable flashlights are Type-Cs, including my mobile phones, BT speakers and MacBook. I'm only against micro USB which is I still have few.
      Anyway, I'm still yet to buy Olight with magnetic charging port.😊

    Nitecore’s UI just doesn’t make sense to me. If you urgently need the strobe, you have to switch on the light with one button and then do a long press on the other… Really? J'ai une m2 r pro warrior olight depuis 4 ans. J'en suis totalement satisfait. L'interface est très intuitif. Les interrupteurs sont parfaitement silencieux. L'interrupteur arrière est constamment en mode tactique très logique et très pratique. Je peux allumer ma lumière par 1 lumen avec un appui long ou en mode mémoire par un rapide appui. Pas de port usb recouvert par un capuchon. Le mode propriétaire ne me gêne pas du tout, la batterie tient très bien la charge et se recharge très bien. Le câble magnétique est très pratique. Je le branche sur mon chargeur Huawei 40 watt et ça charge sans aucun problème. L'étui est d'excellente qualité. Le port en poche (quotidien)) est très efficace. J'adore cette lampe. J'aimerais la même avec plus de puissance et un mode balise. Cette nitecore n'est pas assez tactique à mon goût. Some people using these lights for certain situations would feel that the audible click of the tail switch is a negative feature. For me, I think I'd go with the Nitecore, largely based on the beam it throws, I do wish more companies would come out with something similar to Olight's magnetic charging, beyond the convenience factor, it really eliminates a weak point for water and debris ingress, and a wear point if the light is in heavy use and regularly getting recharged.

      Cables also degrade, and actually degrade faster than the port itself, probably due to stress due to bending. USB type C is easier to replace, it's everywhere. They worked so well that I've since switched my smart phones to magnetic chargers, the only downside with the phones is they do charge slower, but at least I don't wear out the female inlet on phone as I have in the past, which rendered a $600 phone useless.

So essentially you get a green tint 21700 light at 800lm for 166min runtime plus 2.5min of turbo? Both of these lights suck! I have a 10 year old Eagtac D25LC2 Tactical that puts out 1374 (steps down to 1100) lumens for 1.5hr that is smaller & outperforms both of these lights..
