Drove the entire island a few years ago and there are certain parts of that drive that wll take your breathe away. High in the moutains the view of the ocean is endless, blue and breathe-taking.....truly a scenery to die for. I remember we stopped at a small village called Palatuvier and had a local lunch, absolutely delish. We also took a swim at three of the beaches as we took pitstops throughout the island. That day was probably one of the best vacation days i've spent anywhere....ever.
Africa Tigress it was my pleasure joining you on this scenic drive to my favorite Tobago 🇹🇹 spot Charlotteville. Glad you enjoyed and hope for you to be back for havest. You will be in for a treat!! Many more to experience.
Great video AT. I think you can become the premier Caribbean UA-camr because the Caribbean is a top of the top world tourist destination and also those islands have large populations who reside in the US, Canada, Europe, England and the rest of the world. All that is required is the excellent content and promotion and you will be heading for a million subs. Queen African Tigress arise.
Good Wood got the name because Bajans came across for wood and lumber in time past there and they talked about how good the wood was and so the name Good Wood stuck
The current prime minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Keith Rowley is a Tobagonian. The Chief Justice of Trinidad and Tobago, Ivor Archie is a Tobagonian. The president of the Senate, Nigel DeFreitas is a Tobagonian, and on and on. Tobagonian ANR Robinson was the first person in Trinidad and Tobago to be the prime minister and president of the nation.
And much much more. Tobagonians have played major roles in the leadership of this twin island State over past years dating back to probably as early as 1956. Unlike Trinidad this island comprises primarily a monoethnic society.
@africantigress Make Grenada and Carriacou your number 46 and 47 island/County to visit. It's 45 minutes by plane from Trinidad. I know one of the best tour guides there. 😊
African Tigress:Congratulations to you for your new remarkable video today’s from Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago to shows these amazing places on the Caribbean island country in March of 2024❤❤❤
Beautiful traveling experience you're sharing with us. I was born in Trinidad and spend a little time in Tobago as a child. You're bring back memories. On the note of religion; spiritual baptist is another major religion in Tri idad and Tobago. It's the only christian religion that.incorporated the.African spiritually of their African ancestors who was brought to the Island on slave ships. It was against the law to practice such so.the elders incorporated the method of the catholic church to a little degree in order to practice their African spirituality. Now it's lega. I hope you could visit one of those churches. Please be safe on your journey and much love and well wishes to you.❤❤❤
Thanks, AT, for the tour. I have put Tobago on my bucket list for my winter retreats. I hope I will get that opportunity one day. I went there for the third time since my childhood a few years ago, and I made that decision.
My sister recently stayed at that resort and plans to visit there on my visit home this year. Thanks for sharing and explaining as you drive around. It provides great ideas for one who visits. Blessings stay safe.🎉❤
Just one thing to note. Tobago is super green, but this time of year is the dry season. So the grass tends to get dried out and brown. July-Dec is the rainy/wet season so everything is green x 100! And still lots of sun ☀️
Hi African Tigress, here for your content again,it is very good scenery, and I👍love the housing and beaches in Tobago.Blessings to you AT,your hosts and tour guides.Thank you so much.
Very nice video Lynn. Hope I spelled your name correctly. I love the intelligent way you present your content. Makes me want to take a trip to Tobago right now Safe Journey..🇯🇲❤️💚💛🌴
Yet another fantastic vlog AT... Thought I'd point out the indigenous Trini bank seen in many of your shots here, Republic Bank, also has branches in Ghana.. Maybe Kenya next?🤔
African Tigress:Congratulations to you for your amazing three Caribbean islands countries that you had visited so far in January to March 2024❤❤❤Kingston, Jamaica; Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago & Bridgetown, Barbados in 2024❤❤❤
African Tigress:Congratulations to you for reaching countries numbers 45 from 2023 - 2024 to visits these amazing three Caribbean islands countries in 2024❤❤❤
I hope you visited No Man Land. You have to get thre by boat. Tobago has really changed. i have not visited the island in 15 years. Hope to do so in April when I visit home. Thanks again for providing such an educational vlog. Blessings for continued success 🎉❤
I stayed in Castara, on a hill, i can see and hear the ocean, see the green mountains the birds always visit, ie hummingbirds. We are planning another trip. Watching from the UK
17:22 Across the highway from "Signal Hill" is "Moses Hill" which takes you up into Lambeau Village. Driving straight down will bring you out onto the old "Milford Road"...right next to the sea. Thanks for the scenic drive Tigress, I really enjoyed the view on the road to Charloteville....😎
Thank you! You guys did an excellent job on this video. I really enjoyed and appreciated the views. Tobago is truly beautiful. Your videos are very inspiring. Can’t wait to see what more you have to offer. Blessings, and continue to be safe.
Hi my lovely African Tigress Tobago is very beautiful and green and lush and the views are amazing,I am really enjoy every moment of this video and appreciate everything your doing, great content always my dear.❤❤❤❤
It's great Tobago is drivable for it's entire circumference...Many of the other islands can only drive on the windward coast, the leeward coast is usually too mountainous.
Yes sister, the population of Tobago is just over 60 thousands..... "I'm sure that was a little typo error..." Nonetheless, loving every minute of it....❤❤❤❤....
Harvest was a church festival where ppl carried there there garden produce to the church for the priest to bless for better produce for the next year in each village there would be cantata and other activities in the church for that sunday and after the service visitor would leave the church and traverse the village at friends and family that prepared for their visit eat and drinking and catching up on old time
IAfrican tigress I really enjoyed this road trip but would like to know this might be a really hard question but which is the most beautiful place you have been to so far?
Hi Miss A.T I am living in the USA and I enjoy your program very much but, I just want to let you know that you made a mistake about the population of Tobago, it is not 60 million it is about 60 thousand
From Icacos Trinidad to St Giles Island in the far North of Tobago is a total travelling distance of 321km. Which are the furthest travelling distance from any two points of the country of Trinidad and Tobago. Which from what I see is the furtherst of any English speaking Caribbean island country.
You are wrong on 2 things. Firstly Trinidad and Tobago are not contiguous. They are separated by the Ocean. Secondly Jamaica's furthest point end to end is over 210 miles which is 377Km. I have driven it so I know for a fact. Jamaica is more than twice the size of Trinidad.
@@drewski1441 I said travelling distance and I know JAM is just over twice our size and T&T isn't continous but it is still one country. Which two points in Jamaica has a travelling distance of 377km? Also you do know Martine routes are routes also?
@@Tejaye777 We drove a road/highway in Jamaica called the A4 it runs on the north coast of Jamaica. We drove from Duckensfield St Thomas parish in the East to Negril light house in Westmoreland Parish Western jamaica. We zeroed the trip odometer left about 10am got to Negril close to 6pm took about 7/8 hrs. If you look online it will show 150 or 160 miles. That is incorrect. The road map showed 200 miles but the car trip odometer was 209 miles.
@@drewski1441 The furthest of the three routes from those two points are 325km which is more I concede when travelling Martine distance from St Giles Island to Icacos but no where as far as 377km. So I concede those two points in JAM have a further driving distance but by 4km and no where near 377km. Just using the route options on google.
@@Tejaye777 Because online Web sites have the wrong travel distance about Jamaica. I thought the same until I drove it myself. BTW my brother attended university in Trinidad. So he's familiar with Trinidad.
This guy was very nice. I don’t like to muck talkative people! Sometimes u need a lil silence to enjoy the scenery. He engaged in conversation. He was very informative. And knew when to sit back so the viewers can enjoy without much distraction! It was a great balance.

That's correct Barbados is bigger than Tobago .
