@@kellycrawford8900 I've tested many brands over the years. Currently I use a variety of them based on the project. Those brands are ArtResin, Promise epoxy for deep pour, and Mas epoxy for top coats.
On those I did not. They're several years old at this point and actually held up pretty well in that regard. However when I use that technique on coasters now I use paint instead of a marker and do reseal the entire coaster with resin to include the border.
I have not done a full length video on this process yet but if you click on the 3 dots in the upper corner of the video you can see the description where I post links to all of the products used. 💕
Thank you! And yes. You can see a full description/links to all of the supplies used if you click on the 3 dots in the corner of the video and click description.
The art deco markers do a pretty good job of not chipping, but you could always touch them up with another coat if they do. You can also use a gold gilding paint instead that stands up pretty well.

Which technique is this
This technique doesn't have a particular name. It's just pouring resin into coaster molds.
how d I you keep gold trim from chipping

Are you using acrylic paint?
On which part? You can use that for the gold edging but the coaster itself is colored using mica powder.
For 5inch coaster how much resin and harder to use
That would depend on how many coasters you're making. Just 1?
