Ouch that corner looks evil, the evo looked like it was on ice and i think the guy who escaped the z3 roadster must have been wearing his lucky pants, even worked after the initial brown trouser moment.
i was one of the marshals on the lotus 21/ Z3 incident. the Z3 did not back of for yellows. i felt sorry for the lotus driver. he just spun off and then got collected.

The Lotus Eleven driver at 2:28 was so lucky not to have been struck by that BMW Z3M Coupe a few seconds later. Unlucky in that his car was struck though..
@2Toledos Glad you were OK, Can't remember the last time I saw a Toledo on the road never mind a track day ! Is it a 1300 or has it got the engine to match the wheels ?
why are they all seemingly flyinh full throttle into that corner, some just look like they dont even bother braking, and going straight into the wall, was there oil on the track or something.
You have a point, but misfortune and bad luck only feature in 3 or 4 of the crashes shown here. The rest are down to lack of skill, over-exuberance and sheer stupidity. No, I am not a perfect driver, but I have done enough track driving (including Combe, Donington, Oulton, Silverstone, Brands, Spa, and just over 100 laps of the Nordschleife) to differentiate between unlucky and dumb. No, I have never crashed on a track but I did crash going through a drive through once. Quite embarrassing...!

looks like a lot of inexperienced drivers over correcting and braking while cornering. some of those cars weren't even turning LOL get off the brakes if you want it to turn.
Brilliant , the old come trackdays used to be mental hense we stopped doing um in 2006 , great little montage of action over 5 or 6 years.
