Hi, thanks for sharing your video! Really appreciated 🙏 Really good day, shame about the rain. Nice to see vids 👍of the drifters! Love watching them! I was just taking loads of photos! So thanks again for sharing your vid! Cheers Paul the mad photographer 📸
Entered my car in the Action day a few years back, stuck out 2 laps before putting the car back on the trailer... Kids, chavs and idiots alike with no track experience or suitably prepped cars equalled 15 crashes in one day. I didn't fancy getting wiped out by a 1600kg hatchback with road pads, budget tires and vaporised brake fluid.
@@Tombrosapien What are they starting? Having concerns over my car being in jeopardy of others recklessness and egos isn’t elitist, I’m not criticising anyone’s ability, wealth or position. My problem was with the carelessness of their driving and total ignorance of the briefing.
@@OliCM3 I have to agree with you there. I've done a good number of action days and the type of driving these events attract is disgusting. These people forget that it is not a race and the cars that go out I wouldn't do a 5 minute drive to the shops in.
Crikey I saw the Corsa and Clio Crashes (felt for the girl tho) didn't realise there was so many cars damaged...more action than some racedays, great camera work as usual dude👍
When these action days first started there one Saturday can't remember the date however 15 cars went off at Quarry during the day alone and it was wet but for some reason nobody seemed to care it was nutts🤣
Did the track day on the Friday before this but some of those passes eg the clio one near the start make me worry I'd get hit if I ever did one of these
Unfortunately it's more the combination of a low entry price for going on track on an action day, unfavourable conditions, excited drivers & the fact it comes off a decent length straight right before it.
I went years ago and stood in that same position watching. There was a lad hammering an e30 325 round that right hander. Eventually his back left wheel came off 😱
That looks like the worst track day ever !!! Doesn’t anyone take out the driver tuition on these days anymore if it’s available that is?? Best thing I ever done in my Clío cup at Silverstone was have a professional driver show me what to do and it made it loads better!! Don’t think I would of dared to go on with most of them!! 🥺
Most of the sorted, rwd cars: "I'll brake early and go round here at 40ish". Crappy fwd Renault: "Nope, I can do this at 60mph, easy-peas.... Oh, oh, oops, oh no".
decided to miss this year for fear of peoples driving after lockdown, dodged a bullet and several red flags by the looks of it! also GOPRO GO BYEBYE ua-cam.com/video/GEPGy_iYEQw/v-deo.html seriously? no external cameras allowed and the guy has front and rear setup???
The clio could have saved that, he should have backed of the throttle earlier and turned in harder might have went abit side ways but would have been able to save that
Haven’t been to Combe Action day in over 10 years, but I can see from this that it still hasn’t changed, it really is just a collection of the most useless drivers collaborating together to drive such a terrible track, makes me cringe, literally when I think of Combe, I think of people like the guy in the MK4 golf getting out and cheering himself for crashing, why…why are you happy you crashed 😂
Im serious, its well known for being the most technical in the racing community, its a great track and drivers love it, its always looked forward to when it comes up on the calender. Sadly alot of, I hesitate to use the words boy racers just dont know how hard that track can be and think they can go out for the first time with foot to the floor and get round, its tight corners and chicanes are not to be taken lightly, quarry corner is a 90 degree second gear corner at the end of a long straight and you have to get your speed down fast, this is what catches people out, and its very unforgiving. Add to this that over the years the drifters have taken to the circuit this just eggs other drivers on and more accidents as a result. As they always tell you in the drivers breifing its a track day, its about learning your limits and that of your car and is NOT a race day. no overtaking in the corners is allowed on a track day and there are marker cones to tell you when you are in those zones
The recovery truck drivers level of care is only equalled by the clio drivers level of talent.
I lost it when he ripped something off the front of it 🤣🤣
Yeah, I had camera ready in hand in case them forks went through side windows!!! Ouch!!! 🤣
The black golf is equally as talentless
It's scrap now that's why
@@danpullin6610 hardly scrap after that now is it
The total repair bill for the day could run into several weeks worth of dole money.
Suzuki driver at 3:15 knows how to handle a front wheel driver car.. Others are obviously learning.

Yeah sometimes makes me glad track days are a tad expensive VS 15 minutes of the action day
Everyone starts somewhere don’t be so elitist

Does the Maccy Ds Drive-Thru exit end up on this track!?
I'll have a McClio with extra chav please.

Certainly were a fair few, think the slippery track helped with that mind.
Standard track session at Combe on an action day 🤣
A standard track session for young lads in modded cars will serve up plenty of action 😀
great video, the recovery teams kept busy!
I don't think I've ever been to a car event that hosted so many trackies in my life.

Front bumper wiring loom isn't broke on this Clio..... Yank... it is now....🙄🤣
Theses thought they had a bag full of talent till it ran out lmfao omg
I was the black mx5 4:43 and pushed that golf a bit hard after he over took me. Also did you by any chance catch me sliding round the same corner.
I have a few videos but I didn't film you very well.
Hey were you the dude in the camping/ deck chair?!
I always look out for the people filming
Yeah was most likely me, was sat there all day as I normally do!
Is it only me that feels sorry for the girl in the Cleo after she crashes and realises she's totally fucked her car without track day insurance? 🤣
The only joy I get from watching drift cars is seeing them crash, so, thanks!
I was in the orange bmw e36, thanks 😂👍
i like the look of this.cheap cars hooning around and having a laugh. cool af

Absolute dinosaur at 2:55 😂
Oh look a car in the wall, I'll just drift round the same corner while he's still sat there.
Still dunno how that Megan got on track it was 🚀
Avon rise and Quarry, surely one of the most difficult motorsport complexes in the world?
Only for a chosen few, ie, those that find driving difficult

Bust-in-loose indeed. Mainly into the crash barriers.
Grass not gravel. 👍 good one.
Damn, Old man 2:36, just rip everything off!!

Corsa driver expect no less !😂😂
How annoying for the white clio owner…. The go pro flew off so didnt even get his own crash video
Haha! Still has another one on the wing, mind you I'd like to see what the bonnet GoPro saw.
Was actually a girl driving, her first time on track and lost her breaks 😅
@@Brooke_RS197 I bet seeing that "hers not his" sunstrip make it's lap of shame back to the paddock was an interesting moment for her.
@@Brooke_RS197 as bad as the crash is, how the hell did she get on track with external cameras?

Hardcore drifting, waaay better than that pansy arse Red Bull etc sponsored crap. Great vid.
These videos should be titled.. when they think they can drive… 🤣
When people to trackdays on £20 tyres
Too long on the clio crash
0:25, what a mess

Even though he didn't crash the silver Clio driver is awful and dangerous
"Darren track day"
That's some really poor driving by the white clio
The clio could have saved that, he should have backed of the throttle earlier and turned in harder might have went abit side ways but would have been able to save that

Wanna be a millionaire? Set up a hoody stand at Castle Combe on Summer Action Day....add a whit socks stand if you want to double it.
Bit of an outdated stereotype there bud
Always a knob in a s crap BMW
Not a great deal of talent out there, dear me these needed to go to basic driving
So little talent here! Millennials struggling barely 200bhp hatchbacks 🙈
