  • The Bear Forest Knives GT-3 is one tough knife. The combination of handle, blade materials and super durable convex grind make it perfect for hard general use. Abuse it over and over again and it will just keep on working. Very easy to maintain and will probably last a lifetime.

    Whilst I prefer thinner blades for most things, you need a beefy one like this in the toolbox. And if you can only have one, better a bit thick than too thin. Love the looks of this, will be checking it out.

    Still wear one of the On3 EDC knives everyday. I use it for everything. It has been my interface with the world since I got it.

    I don't like convex blade grinds. That's why I re-profiled the blade of my GT-3. It carves great now and is still strong enough. Thanks for the video.

    Funny, buddy just bought one and used it this weekend to clean a mess of squirrels after the hunt. I really liked it and checked to see if there were any reviews and YOU have one! I was really impressed with the size and profile. Same exact knife your reviewing. He liked it a lot and he's a knife guru.

    Dang it! I still need to pick up one of your knives. (Design) Looking forward to putting it to work. The knife in this video looks classic as well. Sort of a smaller modernized kephart style. You can't go wrong with that.

    Love the blade shape, spear point is so versatile. And who doesn't love the Kephart style? Wish it came in 3/32" stock full flat, that 80CrV2 should be tough enough to handle it. The more I use blades the less I like the thicker stocks.

    What blade steel is your gt-3?

    • @ONThree
      @ONThree  Рік тому

      I am pretty sure mine is 52100. Check with Garrett from Bear Forest knives if you want a specific type of steel.
