Love DRose. Made me literally drop tears when he wasn't the same because of the injury. I'm happy to hear him talk this much about it and that he's been so mentally strong about what happened. The world lost a gift along with him when he lost that explosive & graceful athleticism like when musicians die too young. Imagine the music never made and heard, imagine the highlights never made and the roar of the crowd never heard. His highlights pre-injury are up there with anybody's All-Time and in such a short window a lot like undefeated Mike Tyson, Gale Sayers, Bo Jackson, even Barry Sanders since he retired early. It makes me so sad even watching them now but I'll still show them to the new kids and blow their minds when they see them. He was like undefeated Mike Tyson as a PG on the court, like Bruce Lee as a PG, like if the same heart that sparked that fire in Michael Jordan was possessing Rose and he could only go as hard as possible on every play as if to keep the flames behind him with his speed and athletic abilities. I miss that Rose so much. He let fans' imagination flow and think the impossible was possible every time he was on the floor. I'm so happy he had Joakim Noah with him during their glory years and the tough times since their brotherhood was inspirational to see.

Repent and accept Lord Jesus into your life he died for your sins and he is the only way to heaven this world will pass away one day! Jesus loves you!

I really appreciate what D Rose said concerning the "circus," and especially what it can mean for many underprivileged and colored people. So many just see a successful black person at face value, but few really look into what got that person to that point. They don't see the "interests" that inspired those people, the hard work and perseverance they showed while it seemed that life itself was against them, and most often, the faith in God, New Testament values, and embrace of American capitalism and opportunity that guided them to that point. Instead of focusing on the major failures and atrocities committed by past white America and the black community's "victimhood," we need to focus on and apply the victories and successes of underprivileged individuals for the sake of those living today, while still understanding and learning from the horrors of the past and present. Additionally, we cannot rely on others to help us rise up, as Frederick Douglass, former slave and emancipation activist, stated in his 1859 "Self-Made Men" speech: "the man who will get up will be helped up; and the man who will not get up will be allowed to stay down. This may appear somewhat harsh, but in its general application and operation, it is wise, just and beneficent." Although I am white, I have witnessed this first hand as my mom worked hard to take care of five children with no job, no home, and no credit after my father was sentenced to prison. Through all the hardship, she kept her faith in Christ and sought to make the best lives for her kids and raise them with support in the home and church, even if they struggle because of past traumas. Thank you, D Rose, for the opportunity to bring up this important topic. You've always been my favorite basketball player and inspired me to enjoy the game. Always trust God.

Couple years later I'm touring around Italy. My mans there tells me yo, ditch the tee! Wear these light, cotton button-down shirts. Loved it! Back home, switched up again.
When I see this man with his liberty bell hat, or Nick Cannon with his turban, or Kevin Gates I'm like yo, I get it!
