In today’s video I’m going to take you thrifting into Goodwill. I will show you some fun and interesting things I saw while thrifting as well as a small haul at the end of the video. I hope this video gives you some "Thrifting Inspiration”! :)

There are beautiful, unique and inexpensive second hand treasures just waiting for you. These items can be found at your local goodwill, Salvation Army and other thrift stores in your area. Thrifting can be a challenge but very rewarding and worth the hunt! Some of my favorite things to thrift for are home décor items, name brand clothing, vintage items and anything unique or handmade!

I'm so glad you enjoy them Christine. I feel like I get pickier and pickier the longer I thrift. 😆 I do really enjoy finding items for family members. I have a easier time finding things on their list than for myself. 👍
Hannah will have wonderful memories of shopping with you when she is older. My father took me to Goodwill when I was about 10 and we got some books that he loved when he was younger. That was more than 60 years ago and I cherish the memory.
I'm so glad you have some wonderful memories of going thrifting with your father. I still go with Mom and Grandma to this day. It's always been something we've enjoyed doing together. 💕
Thank you for stating that you do this as a hobby, I have been a thrift-er my entire life just about, and I also love to go to get my mind off my troubles, So I appreciate others that do as well. Don't have to buy, but love to touch and look at things.

Nice to see your daughter, I go thrifting with my 17 year old son. At first he didn’t like it but now he looks for vintage super bowl t shirts and these special type of Nike sneakers. It’s nice to have him come along. I also look at everything too and find it relaxing! I don’t resell either I use it myself or give it to family and friends. They love the stuff I find.
That is so awesome. I'm glad your son is enjoying the hunting. I hope he finds what he's looking for. My daughter has really been loving clothes thrifting lately. She has made a Pinterest board of outfits. She likes to see what she can find at the thrift store that looks similar. 💕

I love your videos, my husband and I are buying our first house and my goal is to thrift 80% or more of the furnishings and things, and make the rest. Your videos are a godsend while I am recovering from a c section and can't currently get out to thrift myself. 😀

hello from Petrolia, Ontario, Canada!!...I really enjoy watching your videos, Jessica.....I LOVE thrifting too....its my happy place as well....I really enjoy the thrill of the hunt and repurposing things that cost a fraction of what I would normally pay in a retail store....we are currently renovating our home and Ive found so many items that we've repurposed somehow with just a new paint job or some new hardware to give old items new life and I get so excited when that happens!!......great finds Hannah!...:-D

Hi Jessica & Hannah, you had a great haul.
I was thrifting too yesterday and found two Villeroy & Boch mugs, one had a London scene on it and the other Kingfishers (a dazzling blue bird sometimes found by rivers). Both mugs cost £2.50 which was a bargain because I know they retail for £21.90 each
thank you to you and Hannah for taking us thrifting with you. *OH!* i went thrifting 2 days in a row, last saturday and sunday. on saturday i found a small antique-looking, brass-looking compass/sundial. i think large ones used to be used on sailing ships. some of them come with a box which the compass/sundial fits snuggly into. i knew when i saw it that it was unique, and then i looked it up when i got home. i don't know that it is genuinely old; it may have come from Hobby Lobby because they sell antique-looking decorative clocks and such there. i put it in my bedroom by my large brass magnifying glass, my gemstone globe, and other "sea" decor. while shopping, i chatted briefly with a young teacher i saw at the thrift store, and i told her it was ready to fit into my existing decor because it was already dusty. hahaha! i'd post a web link so you could see one like it, but youtube blocks those now. i went to 4 thrift stores during the two days, and i got a couple of other things, but the compass/sundial was my best find a $2.98.
P.S. i just found one which looks exactly like it under a site called American Science and Surplus $29.95, slightly less if you buy in bulk. mine is not that shiny as it has the darker patina which brass gets when it's exposed to the air for a while. *:-)*

I took my twins shopping with me when they were little to teenage and now they both resale and have their own channels and one is even a lifeguard on the “thrifting board”? Funny how you asked if anyone collects trival masks. Not my style. But I was in a customers house today and she had an entire bedroom with an egyption theme with statues and such. Looked like expensive things. Very interesting and her walls were red UGH. Nice scores :)))
