I tried to do a shift working for GOPHR in London.
Gophr is self employed courier app similar to Deliveroo/UberEats.
Can pick up multiple parcels at once and deliver them in within the time limit set by the app.

ive done some gophr, in glasgow mainly get just co-op screwfix, odd long distance jobs. Its not what i thought it was going to be, support is shocking like everything depends on someone answering you other wise your just stuck. sure its better in london than other places..

How long did it take you to get your account and is it any good better than deliveroo?
Seems stressful for not even £10/hour.. I've left the delivery job and only do it when I need some extra money! I work at a posh burger shop now for £10/hour and it's much better as there's no expenses etc.
They're paying shit now because there's alot of drivers for the jobs.
I'll just leave soon for better employment, unfortunately courier jobs became for illegals now on these rates of pay, there's no point anymore
It depends on the area your living like my area if you work for the whole day from 7:00am to 10:00pm with a 1 hour break between school end like 3-4 then you can easily make £200-230 easily with no stress but ofcourse depends on your area

@@Shash-sxngh if one doesn't have to pay accommodation it should be fine, but with the inflation now running on double digits just impossible relying on it any longer only if you sacrifice your days off which is an already negative side to sum up as there's no sick pay and worse no holiday entitlement

Can't beat a good old fashioned radio with a controller giving you the jobs in your area...
App definitely seems like it needs some development. Would be good if it grouped jobs, 3 collections in an area to 3 deliveries on the same route and pick up more on the way.
Best way to navigate these last mile parcel apps is accumulation of smaller parcel ie envelopes and when routing you manually type in your drop off addressess into Google maps individually for example five stops or how many parcels u have (maximum 10) then reroute you route from a a to j with first pickup closest to you.... there are apps that automatically route your route for you but best way is manually through gmaps for multidropping

It's my opinion that when they give me jobs at 3 pounds, I just let the work go by itself, the best option

This app sends you so many killer miles away for less money. You won't even make anything for 2 to 3 hours because of the distance you have to travel. Your fuel for bike will run out quickly so its better to stay with ubereats and deliveroo food companies. Gophr is hard work and you never know how big your parcels will be and if black wall tunnel closes then you have to think how to travel to cross the river. Waste of time, stay with food delivery apps instead. Cheers bro😀👍
it's not worth it at all and I went to pick up an Amazon flex order for the first and last time 😄 It's still cold here in Edinburgh for a bike and I drive the car but I can't wait to get on the bike in the spring
