I have a relative that runs 2 large cemeteries and he switched over to Scag . Myself , I mow close to 3 acres and have been using a 2011 Silver Eagle 50" cut with a 27 hp Kawasaki engine . In that time I have replaced all belts once and changed oil regularly plus blades when needed . And I have replaced the battery once after 12 years on the first one . When it is time I will be getting another Dixie Chopper because they are at this time less expensive considerately .
I know a few guys around here that run dixie choppers! I dont have any experience with them personally, but I know a couple guys locally that use them and swear by them! These big brand name mowers are getting crazy with prices!
@@harryerhart5978 That’s crazy! I had to take mine back to the dealer twice in October because the bearings in the casters went. I’m hoping this isn’t going to be an ongoing issue.

My Scag came with no grease in the front wheels also squeaky 😮 They said l didn't grease it BS
