We struggle in Cheshire to find any Swift Dealers who provide quality genuine after care so I think I’ll be checking Broad Lane out. Just wondered why there was a truma service engineer fitting it and not one of the Dealers engineers. Is it standard practice to just use truma mobile fitters?

Hi guys. We have the same air con in our swift. I’m in talking with my engineer who is top notch but even the best jackery will not power these off grid as you need 18 kw. And the biggest output on the jackery is 15kw. He has mentioned the lpg generator that will do 22kw but they are bulky and I will need to plug air con in to it? What are yous doing about using yours off grid. Thanks guys !!!!

hi i have the same air con unit its fitted where the old fan was ,,my thinking is i could move it to another van if i want ,,a friend of mine used to have is moved from caravan to caravan for £500 bit cheaper than buying new every time did you not consider moving your old unit ,,?

Will that affect your van warranty? We are having a 360 degree camera system fitted in June by Retrofits in Pool and wasn’t sure if cutting holes in your van can affect the warranty 🤞 not as it should make it safer 🤞 😂
Good question Doris. Yes by cutting a hole in the roof any water ingress in that area would be down to us to take care of as this goes beyond the warranty cover.
Matt the price varies depending on which unit you go for and if you’ll need a hole cutting in your roof or it drops straight in. Give Broadlane a shout to get a price

Love the positivity guys, I had my new van a week when a lady drove into the back of me when I was parked up. I was absolutely guttered and heartbroken until it was fixed, almost wanted to get rid of it. Next time, I’ll take your approach because as soon as it was fixed, I was thinking why was I so bothered?!

Our van has no aircon, even in the cab as its an older model. Does this unit work while driving as well as on EHU?

I had Truma Aircon in my Adria Twin Supreme, but it only worked off 240v / mains (I think…..). Another great vid thank you
