I think you are right it seems like he was digging for ice age or tempest kick (would have to look at deck size again to figure that out). I like either holding more cards to play around the Usohachi or I think there was a line with Leader Ability + Kalifa + Spandine -> Kalifa + Brook swing to get Luffy down to 3 and KO with Jack which was another option. i guess that another option was just to try another 5 with brook, he obv counter cuz 1 life with 2 big bodies is too risk and he could even rebecca sabo, and after that all the don to moria to try to swing into luffy and 8k leader with jack. in any case that if he counter or not was good. and u still have a lot of cards in hand and counters too for the next turn and luffy couldnt go for game. and u didnt have to risk digging for any cost reduction or use cards in hand
Oh final turn if the Lucci played more defensive, keeping cards in hand. If pluffy plays a 7c sanji, he can go 7 8 10, lucci would only have 6k counter, 3k to block 7, 8k hits, 10k hits

If the lucci players use khalifa + spandine into kalifa + brook minus 1 + leader minus 1 he can pop the luffy with jack and win next turn lol
Lucci did make a couple missplays unfortunately, but good game overall.
