Things like "hyping up his audience" for laughing at Levy and his abilities, excusing Hans' mistakes, just everything Hans' stream wasn't. I'm sure Hans wasn't actually as mean spirited as the stream across, the compliments of Levy finding positions disguised to keep Hans' bad boy persona, but it's still a pretty amazing contrast of what Hans was expecting and what Levy actually made.
Hikaru was absolutely correct. Levy using the fact that he's Gotham chess is a massive advantage. Just about every chess UA-camr is now pumping out a video on this.

And he just clicks through all the moves in the game silently while mean mugging the camera and he just ends it with, "ok I hope you enjoyed todays analysis good luck on your road to GM Levy."
It's fascinating to see Hans's whole "Levy, you're supposed to choke! This is not Levy Rozman!" reaction. He's thrown off because he expects Levy to make certain mistakes based on his past performance, while Levy's recent training (and the effects of hiding his opponents' identity) have mitigated Levy's weaknesses in terms of his reactions and stress levels. And like Hans said after the game, he played worse because he thought about how embarrassing it would be to lose to Levy . It really shows the importance of temperament and mental game in chess, how it can be as important as knowledge, calculation, reaction time, etc.

What are you talking about? Hans said he was nervous playing Levy. How is that arrogant???
Finally, the Milkman beat the Cheater.
Your delight is contagiously inspiring (especially cos you're trying to contain it). Not just for chess, but as a general attitude for life. I hope you continue on what seems to be a most fulfilling journey
LETS GO - you're working hard, thank you for keeping us apprised of your journey!
I am Shocked with the fact he didn't clickbait more than the fact that he won😅😅
The title should have I beated the future World Chess Champion
Hans Niemann title how I let Levy win and motivated him
The future 1st American World Chess Champion vs Hans Niemann!
Fischer is actually the first US world chess champion
@@ViweBaloyi yeah I think he was referring to the future. Like in the future, the first American to win the World chess championship again will be Levy. This or something
Super congrats, Levy!!!
You deserve it.
Well played my friend! Definitely see the excitement and your confidence growing!
The most lovely thing was Levy's genuine joy after the game on stream when he realised who he had beaten. I was so happy for him!
Great win Levy!
Levy now milking Hans for content 💀
Technically he’s milking himself here.
@@johnny2003International master(bater)
And Hikaru milking Levi for content.😂
Literally milking Hans for ELO actually
I really appreciate how Levy keeps being himself and is not subjecting himself to the whole drama. Thumbs up!
Been away from chess for a good while, this is a great video to come back to.
