Holy shit the crowd's reaction at 44:37 when the guitarist began the intro of To The Hellfire. Such an amazing moment. I really liked how raw it was, them just coming back on stage and jamming their biggest hit. Frontman said "GO!" and boy they went. Also the solo at 49:06 was damn perfect, something I had noticed him struggling to pull off live before but it's obvious he's really mastered it. They're just my absolutely favorite.

I thought he was tight with it. It was written for CJ. Some believe songs can never be done as well as being sung by the original singer/writer. I personally think Will was great with it and considering that I don’t think CJ ever performed it live (or if he did it wasn’t many times, I mean he wasn’t with them long so…) I think Will did great making it his own. Thank you for the upload 🔥 As a Lorna Shore fan for about 10 years, I can’t help but express my opinion though. Immortal with Will sounds very weak compared to CJ. I’ve seen both CJ and Will with Lorna Shore live. And commented in multiple social media that CJs power is missing from Immortal, Will’s voice was faltering on Immortal, but it was played as last song on the concert I’ve been to - so maybe exhaustion. They now brought it to be the first song. Well it’s still nothing like CJ. The powerful lows of CJ made that song. Will is good, CJ was phenomenal. Also, CJ didn’t need sound engineering help to sound brute live all the way to the end of the concert. Lorna will write new songs to match Will’s abilities and I still love the band and go to every concert they have in my area. But truth be told, I’m stoked for what’s coming from CJ’s new band too.
I have seen all three vocalists and all three are great. Each had their different ways and I appreciate them all. For Will to pick up CJ vocals as easily as he did I think is pretty great. They weren’t written for him but he will get better with them. And yes as Will writes more for himself then they will be obviously stronger. CJ is a great vocalist. No doubt about it and both guys in Lorna Shore and Signs of the Swarm that night admitted to that. But CJ just wasn’t a good fit within the bands. Will fits Lorna Shore now very well. I am glad CJ has formed his own band and will tailor it to his ability and liking. I believe he will move on and have his own identity within Immortal Disfigurement. I say this as someone who hasn't seen either in person, but from the recordings I've seen live it appears that CJ has the weaker voice that's over-produced in the studio (hence Dragged Through The Inferno). Will does one takes of his ridiculous vocal acts on UA-cam, and there is producing happening there I'll refer to the video where Ben Duerr (albeit an absolute animal) got on stage and finished up Grimoire for CJ and the volume difference between the two was insane. I like them both as vocalists (besides CJ being a piece of shit human), but Will seems to fit LS better.

I’ve seen several live performances of CJ with LS and his vocals crack numerous times and he would exhaust the power in the beginning of a growl/snarl and the volume would DRASTICALLY decrease to the point where the end of his growl/snarl was basically a whisper. CJ’s vocals are very good and are different than Will’s, there’s a reason why Will is the most talked about vocalist in the genre right now.

Am I the only person who thinks the kick is wayyyy too high in the mix? Like all I can hear is the damn kick drum. Not only that, but I know the low frequencies of the kick have to be cut out for the bass and guitars, but kick is so damn clicky that it doesn’t resemble a kick anymore.
