This is a great video, especially the comparison bit @6:52 - it really emphasizes the difference between the 11 and the 13. I've just recently graduated to being able to throw 10 and now 11 speed discs and the Grace...it feels real good.
I’ve been digging the thoughtspace animus lately. It’s a 10.5 speed in a similar vein. The aura is pretty straight, but ethereal is overstable.
That shot with the two flightpaths at the same time was awesome!

One disc Innova makes that's less stable than a Wraith but has the same speed and rim thickness (wing length) is the Mystere. At 11 6 -2 2 it's a long distance straight driver. Also you could try a Wraith in GStar plastic, which is usually a touch less stable on average, still premium plastic, but more grippy. Love your videos - keep up the great work! 😎
I throw the Mystere further than any other disc. I actually just got a Grace and out of the box its a touch more stable but very similar.
Grace is basically a Star Wraith after about 6 months of play.
Makes perfect sense bc i have a 6 month old wraith

The Grace is for sure my most thrown driver. I have 4 of them in the bag. Love the Royal Grand for straight to turnover shots, and the Tattar World Champ Orbit Graces in Red for flex shots and more overstable lines.
I used to bag Wraiths, but over time I transitioned over to the Anax. I realized it was much more workable and I could get 400-415 feet of effortless, laser straight distance

Got a couple royal graces a couple weeks ago.
First throw was an easy 401ft on flat ground on a flat to hyzer line. They couldn’t get in my bag fast enough
The Heat in ESP use to be my go to when I had a slower arm speed, now its a great understable for me but I moved onto a Grace as well. I do like the Musket for over a more over stable disc though.
I love Innova's Mystere. used to be my backhand bomber when I only had a backhand, now my forehand is a lot more powerful and so I use it for long straight hyzer flips. Still use it for my backhand a ton too
Got a grace from a mystery box a year ago when I started, finally feel like I've reached the arm speed to throw it

The Grace is also my Driver of choice. I'm with you on Grace over Wraith. The Wraith does have a huge plastic variety but the runs on Innova discs seem to be all over the place. Example: My 154g Blizzard Wraith is more beef than my Halo and it's not even close.
Hey Anthony, in general where do you think each version of the Grace falls in order from least stable to most stable?
I have a Kristen Orbit and a Kristen Lupus. My local shop is about to get some stock run Graces in. Do you think the stock run will be more understable than those other two? Or is the Lupus basically a stock run?
Personally I have a star wraith and a Grace. I find them to be similar but the wraith is just a bit more stable and doesn’t glide as far. I prefer the Grace as well easier to get further distance
I've been playing for over 5 years, tried many different discs and both my longest backhand and forehand shots have come with a Grace. And it's just an 11 speed.
Bag 2 rives 1 stilleto and 3 grace as my drivers. If I want to step down from grace to fairway I use escape,and now I also have the supream escape (royal plastic) so if you want a slower grace try supream escape. Got to c1 on 410ft tunnelshot that's at it widest 22ft with the escape today. Trust me, it's the slower grace.
What do you bag for fairway drivers? Started playing this fall and have finally worked my arm speed up to being able to throw a fairway driver correctly, also your channel has definitely helped me me get there!

Im currently bagging a factory 2nd pro wraith, and ive been considering trying something else for that slot because the wraith seems to be more overstable whenever i try to throw it. Im kind of considering either a grace or DD1 just to try some other stuff out and see if anything else fits my hand the same while having a little more turn when I throw it.
If you're looking for a good understable driver try a mint discs diamond back or freetail (depending on how Flippy you're looking for). I love the feel and flight of both.
Haven't tried a lot of mint but will definitely have to look at itQ

Anthony - if you like the Grace, have you tried a Gateway journey? 12/6/-1/2. They have the prototype G1 which they put at 12/6/-1/1, awaiting PDGA approval.
I really should give grace a try. But I really love my Wraith a lot. maybe I can try both in the bag. use for different shots
How I feel about the discraft scorch, an 11 speed but my go to when I need full flex distance, as well as just being a greasy distance woods disc. Possibly a future review?!
I'm curious if you are still a huge fan of the Grace as you're working on your new form? I found this last year some of my favorite controlled -1 ish drivers were flipping easier once I worked on my form similarly to what you're working on too. Maybe I need to crank out the throwing reps to control the power more, but they for sure fly faster than my old form! Im a HUGE fan of the sapphire, it can absolutely bomb for me, but it is really touchy with the -2 and light weight. I'll have to give the grace a try!
have you ever tried the Flow from Lat 64? seems like every day my feed has a new video about the Grace but I've found the Flow in Opto is just as good if not better
I want to try the grace but I have used the Viking Discs Ragnarok for that slot. Also it is hard to find Grace even online sometimes. When the grace becomes more available I will for sure get them to fill the slot or try to.
I just ordered 4 of these. 2 Royal grand and 2 Kristin Tattar orbits. I love my wraiths but can’t really get them to turn. They flip up and go straight with reliable fade. Tried the hades and the wave hoping I could get some turn before the fade and sometimes they don’t fade at all. Hoping this is the Goldie locks in the middle.
The DD Vandal is my go-to 9 speed. It's like a faster saint pro or maverick and a bit less overstable than the escape.
For me that perfect control driver is the discraft vulture🤩

You should really try a vanish from axiom disc. It’s a little more stable then the numbers say. Bomber
I feel that the Saint and saint pro is great at that 9 speed slot. They feel the same as the grace but not as much distance.
I bag two retro saints and one gold saint pro and then a Felon for windy days.
What about comparing the Grace vs. Finishline discs Era vs. Latitude 64 Flow?
Since Kastaplast is now part of the Latitude 64 family, you might want to try the Lots for that 9 speed slot. I use a lot of your bag too so that's why it might be a disc you like.
I love the KT grace though. I have a couple myself although the orbit blue with the original wolf stamp looks absolutely gorgeous!

My bag is full Kastaplast, but i am reaaaally struggling to remove my Graces for the Grym. They are not too different for me, but Grace was one of the first discs i bought, i just can't do it.
My local courses are either wooded/double mando holes where i prefer the Falk or Svea for the straight shots, or 100m shots where i'd rather use the Grace than Lots, so i use my Lots way too little.
Mr Jonathan would tell you to buy a fuse or the Bolt.
I am more of a saint/saint pro guy tho.. I do have the grace but I rarely use it for some reason 🤔
The KT Grace is HIGH on my list of discs I want to bag. I do have an TSA Animus tho which I hope beats on similar to this

Another disc that’s super good that is super underrated is the Discmania Enigma. It is flippy cloudbreaker right out of the box
someone else said they think it might be the same mold so I'm going to have to check it out!
I bag both the Grace now and Enigma.
Enigma is a bit faster (12 speed) and has a touch more stability and the neo plastic is just as nice as the royal. the two are great compliments as the enigma holds up in headwinds a bit better

I love 11 speeds. I can’t quite grip a 12 speed cuz I’m too short and my hands are tiny so 10-11 speeds are my go to max distance discs
Had two Graces for about a week, forgot I had forehanded one of them into the woods. I circled back a couple holes later to grab it and it was gone. 😏It was a first run Purple and just money

For me it’s the discraft scorch. 11 6 -2 2. Glides for days and very little effort. I have big hands so any speed driver feels good. However I’m over 50 so 11 speed is my max.

Dumb question but do you or anyone else think there is a difference between the stock grace and Kristin Tattar Grace? I know that seems silly to ask but sometimes people say there are difference between different runs of discs.

I love the grace, but I had one hyzer onto a sidewalk and the royal grand plastic took so much damage I never threw the disc again. That plastic feels amazing in the hand, but the 2 discs I've had in it both took a lot more damage than any of my other premium discs
I have notices some chips when I hit metal signs and stuff, but I've been surprised how little it's affected the flights as I've seen! What do you throw in that slot instead?
@@BodanzaDiscGolf I bag 2 era's, 1 in the opaque first run plastic that I throw for annies and tailwinds and another in their premium stiff transparent plastic which is more stable that I'm hoping beats in a bit more cause I have a legacy vengeance for my overstable hybrid driver slot

Everyone kept telling me how Grace is the cheat disc for distance so I got it. It was decent but then I got my first innova star destroyer, and it gave me 30ft of extra distance consistently compared to the Grace. Star Destroyer is the cheat code for me, not the Grace.
I really like 11 speed discs. I use a Scorch, Fission Wave, Trace, and Fission Photon. I wanted to try a Grace but couldn't find one a few months back. Zenith is on my wall. Just didnt like it.
my problem is i cant find any of these. i currently bag 2 wraiths and rather use them since i can find them more easily if need be
Mine is soooo overstable, I just got latest world champ run, it’s flies like a Calvin destroyer for me (Very noodle arm). But I can at least get some distance with a cloudbreaker or an emperor

The grace is the same rim width as a destroyer, so I wouldn't count it as anything but a distance driver.
Yeah, it's definitely not an 11-speed and not a control driver.
Since you have so many lol... Do any of your graces have dome? Both the ones I have are pretty flat.
my first run is pretty flat all others have a slight pop top but nothing crazy

A new Pro Wraith is almost always flies like a 11/6/-1/2 that's how 7 of mine fly anyways🤷.
However I do have a Pro Wraith with a higher PLH (parting line height) it flies just like a Champion Wraith 11/5/-1/3 but that's not the norm 🤷.
And just so people know Innova's "Driver Pro" plastic, the type that feels and looks like Star plastic, is way more durable than the Pro formula they use on putt and approach discs.
Driver Pro the type that looks and feels like Star plastic, is "taco resistant" it has good memory (ability to migrate back to original shape) like star plastic does. However it's lacking in the abrasion-resistant department unlike Star plastic.
Driver Pro is a totally different mix than KC Pro, JK Pro, R Pro, JC Pro, MC Pro, or Putt & Approach Pro which isn't really used much anymore anyway🤔.
And before someone says "hey what about Yeti Pro, you forget Yeti Pro".
Yeti Pro is actually a JK Pro mix.
What makes that disc "Yeti Pro" isn't the type of plastic mixture, it's actually the concave flight plate aka puddle top process.
Yes if you haven't figured it out I like Pro plastic😂.
But not as much as the really old buttery smooth DX plastic, like on the "DX XD putter" and "original Classic Roc putter", oh so good🤩. ✌️
Is it similar to the trespass. The trespass fits in my hand better than any disc ever but I mainly use a KRAIT 11 5 -1 2
Honestly it is pretty similar, a little glidier and definitely slightly slower, but flights at correct speeds are pretty similar
@@BodanzaDiscGolf I almost bought a new lucid trespass yesterday they felt so good little gummy and pop top. They were clear with a ugly brown stamp and I just bought a esp Zeus and Hades. Been looking for a disc to replace my KRAIT for a year and can't find it. Flies dead straight 400ft on slight hyzer release

Grace is also my favorite driver ever. It's very wraith-like, it's true, but I own like 10 wraiths and I like my Grace way more. The plastic is just bliss, firstly, unlike Wraiths they're extremely consistent. They're also prettier.

I've thrown a scorch before and it's much less stable, especially than the orbit graces
This is my hardest slot too fill..I want a grace, like my essence also want a Stratosphere. Want to see those compared.
I got a mystery box and I have those so I may be able to do that, wil have to see if I have enough time to compare them and still get out newer/fresher style content. But either way, I'll talk about how I feel the dd1 compares to the grace for sure

In my eyes mold minimalization uses the cycling of discs, but they're different. I "cycle" graces within the same or similar range of flights, not to fill every distance driver slot with just one mold. I still bag other ones, so it's not minimalization. I also talked about this example specifically in that video lol

Can we see it thrown next to a wraith, wraith pro, zeus, DD1, and or CD3. All these discs throw simular IMO. the Zeus being a 12 speed throws more like an 11, the DD3 and destroyer imo throws more 12 to 13 speedish imo and is harder to get up to speed. Still a comparison is worth knowing then just saying this is the best disc. Also Comapairing Domey wraiths and flat wraiths you will see completely different results. Wonder what he was actually throwing to not like them

Pretty convinced the Enigma is the same mold in different plastic.
That's what I'm thinking about the DD1 but haven't gottenm my hands on one, I do know discmania has a partnership with lat64, might have to try out the enigma just to see if it is, because it's probably more available and cheaper!

@@BodanzaDiscGolf I used to bag Graces when they first came out. Availablilty and price made me try the Enigma. Couldn't tell a difference in the flight or profile. Enigma seemed to retain the stability longer, maybe due to the plastic. Plus they come in white and Neo plastic dyes like a champ.
So the grace is a cool disc but the westside sword gets way more distance. I don’t feel like the grace flies as good as other trilogy drivers on that spot

FD all day and twice on the weekend. No pros throw Rivers for a reason, they are not reliable for higher arm speeds. Fun to throw with no wind on open courses though.
@@Cubby-gw3bz it's way more durable then discraft. I hit metal fences asphalt concrete and trees in my yard with all my disc. Cosmic Neutron and proton prism is by far the most durable plastic. Try a relay or a pyro.

I have tried Graces, and they are just genuinely too under-stable for Oklahoma weather. I think that what you mean to say by comparing the Grace and Rive is that at your arm's speed the Grace is easier to control in the woods than the Rive because you have to change the angle that you throw the disc. An an-hyzer flex will always have a larger flight width than a hyzer flip to flat. If you threw the Grace flay or an-hyzer as opposed to on hyzer than the grace should technically go ways farther right "if right-handed on a backhand line" than the rive, because it is more understable. Shaping shots depends on your arm speed and the angle at which you throw a disc, not on whether the disc is faster or slower compared to another disc. You can throw the same shot with a Grace and a Rive and have the flight be exactly the same you just either have to throw harder or softer depending on which one you use.

But honstly, innova's F2 site is OP if you throw their molds. SUCH good prices, especially when you get the free extra discs on fridays!
