It is amazing how having less makes life so much easier! I would rather have 10-12 things that I wash every couple days than have 100's of things that don't get used.
Right? Honestly, why did it take me this long to see it? I take much better care of a few items and it's easier to keep track of them too. It's wild. thanks for being here!!
Love it. My LO was really sicky baby and we found 8 vests and 8 onesies was perfect amount. Even doing laundry twice a week and air drying everything was enough.
Can you make a video maybe about your mindset and how you go about purging? I have two boys (almost exactly the same ages as yours!) and i get so overwhelmed with the hand me downs and the excess but I’m not sure what to get rid of. I’d love to know how you mentally went about getting rid of what. Same with your wardrobe too! Love your channel!!
I am so glad I found you’re videos! I am new to all of this! Came to the ACTUAL realization of “ok I need to do this already! I am becoming the mom I don’t want to be because of all the clutter. I’ve already started getting rid of things! I started a few months back with clothing because of losing weight! Then today I got rid of more clothes and I’m like how did I still have stuff that doesn’t fit me anymore? So stuff that still had tags that’s still in great condition I just want to give it away or sell it because some is still good stuff and I hate to throw it but that’s what’s causing this! I just keep it to give away and yet here we are
Dear parents! When Your kids are very good behaviour all the time and always taking good care of their things, keeping their rooms very clean, loving their favorite things and want to make nice childhood collections of their things: books, clothes, toys, video games, clothes, DVDs and etc, then donataing is very wrong thing to do. If You have few space then storage boxes and shelves will help You out and Your kids will be very happy and thankful then, if they can keep their favourite things. Childhood things are very valuable and it is very sad, if they won’t see them anymore in their life. Every child should have the right to keep their things, if they can take good care of them all the time!!! Respectfully, Astra Viil ☺️🙏
I am also decluttering and minimizing the wardrobe from mu daughter. She has a lot of clothes. Some that dont fit anymore some that still fit but are damaged. And some clothes that well fit a month and need to get out. And clothes that she likes and fot. I put the items that we damaged in a garbage bag i put it outside the more poor people take those clothes for the kids and they can use them ir ment them of they are handy, i am not the smaller things i store when we ever get a second baby. But i doubt it that happens in this situation. And the other stuff i put in the closet and we throw some things in the garbage
I found your channel when branch basics shared your video. I've been binge watching your videos haha. I'm pregnant with my second boy and im curious about how you can have so few items when they grow out of everything so fast! My purging includes 5-7 items per 3 month period of the first year and then 6 month periods after that. So 0-3 yrs old I have quite a bit of clothes. I also don't want to give the stuff they grow out of away because I'm hoping to have more boys in the future. Sorry I'm just kind of rambling, I just don't know how to cut back so significantly 😬
Also totally get that you want to save! Do what works best for you. I just decided to go with the tactic of buying minimal, wearing pieces out and replacing when needed! Barely bought anything for my second! Also know that you’re never “wrong”! Just do what’s best for you! Good luck momma!!!!
all right girl I also have a 9 month old boy and a 3 yr old boy. how do you deal with laundry when this is all they have? laundry every day?! please help!
I do a load a day/every other day! It's just part of my morning chore list while my babies play in their room(right next door to the washer and dryer). Normally it's a small load, but it just suited me better. I had the hardest time doing huge loads of laundry, my clean clothes would just sit there for days. ALSO, because they have around 7 tops each, they always have a few items that are clean if I skip a day. And, ya know, you do what works for you. If you need to keep a few more tops for them if you can't do laundry daily, then do that. You're not wrong! It's just what works and functions best for your fam. LMK what you end up doing!
@@margaretmatheny that is a great point about the piles of clean clothes that just sit there... lol. I never thought of that. Ok... I'm considering. Thanks for the inspo! I always felt like I could declutter my own closet but not my kiddos :)
@@jessicasullivan2182 Absolutely! Thanks for watching, engaging, and supporting me too. Everyone's got their ways of figuring out this 'live simply' theory. Try a couple things! Trial and error is the best teacher!
Idk if you deal with this but what do you do when people are constantly giving you massive amounts of hand me downs? My mom will bring over a big garbage bag of things she picks up in garage sales or clearance deals every few months then my sister gives me literally everything my niece owned and that girl has enough clothes to wear a new outfit every day andstill never wear them all. Im pregnant now too and dont know the gender yet but i am completely overwhelmed with baby girl clothes at the moment and my sister said shes got even more things to bring over. Also, ive probably bought my daughter 10 outfits all together and i think that was just when we needed preemie sizes to get us through. Im pretty minimal otherwise but im constantly gifted too many clothes for her. I appreciate it but definately way more than we will ever wear.
I just take what I want, give the rest away or even sell it if I can. I never say no for hand me downs but it does get very overwhelming if not sorted through and dealt with immediately. There is a lot of people in need so shouldn’t be hard to find someone to bless it with!

ah, sounds like quite the task! She will feel so much better, as will you. It helps so much.

I saved a box from my first boy and swap when necessary!! Honestly I just put my second baby in larger clothes and haven’t had to swap much at all!!

Nice video !
Thank you!! It was fun for me!
Congratulations on 1k!! Your kids are adorable :) You should apply for monetization and earn some extra side cash!
Thank you Annie!! I still need to reach my ‘hours watched’ threshold, soon! Thanks for your support.
