They sound so good now, I have seen them in many years prior. They just keep getting better at their game. They just don't over do it so they keep going.
I talked to Paolo of Trivium about this very topic... Unless you're the size of Metallica, you end up playing the same setlist every night to save on the cost of programming the lights, pyro, audio intros, etc. That is why encores are generally only for gigantic bands or house bands, not bands in the small theater touring group like BFMV and Trivium
