A station wagon can carry more than a sedan while burning more fuel to go slower? Crazy. Unless there's ice. Or you need to put anyone but a very small child in the back and still land with enough fuel to not have burned your CG out the back. Or you want to get into the flight levels to top weather or catch some wind. Notwithstanding they are planes built for different missions, it's instructive to research how many of each type are on active 135 certificates. Charter operators need high dispatch rates, high uptime, and low maintenance costs. The Cirrus has fewer and simpler mechanical systems, a higher service ceiling, a more capable ice protection system, and a better ride owing to much higher wing loading. Subjectively, having flown both for several hundred hours, the Cirrus is just nicer to fly. The Bo is a fine plane but there's a reason it has a fraction of the market share. People who don't need 6 seats prefer the more comfortable, cheaper to operate Cirrus; people who do really need 6 seats will give up a few knots for the more comfortable, fly-with-anything-you-can-close-the-doors-on, land anywhere 206 or they will spend a little more for the security of a Baron. Textron uses buyer profiles to find and keep track of probable and possible buyers throughout the world. In fact, if you walk in to a Cessna pilot center and you've been previously identified by the Textron algorithm, it will ID you when the CFI enters your info and you will get, at the very least, a personal call from a hired gun like Mindy or Sarah. These buyer profiles are specific to each model. Almost all the Textron models from the Skyhawk to the Latitude are targeted at buyers based on tangible, value-added, market leading attributes. Only the Bo is targeted based on intangibles like prestige and tradition, because it can't win on numbers. When I taught at a Cessna Pilot Center in a large NE metro, we got to know the various product line reps pretty well and it was downright spooky how good the computer is at guessing what airplane you might want to buy, but no one needed a computer to figure out who was getting a Bonanza ride when the piston rep called.
gasfiltered there are way more Bonanza around and for many years before that fibreglass junk Cirrus ever existed. Ive been flying for forty years and mostly twins but if I wanted a single I’d buy would buy a Bonanza to put my family in any day over a Cirrus...bloody pieces of shit they are.
The biggest fault I see in the Cirrus is the side stick controls. You just can’t get good leverage (2 hands) on it in a full flaps go-around situation, when the nose wants to pitch up. Other than that it’s quite a nice airplane.
Sarah and Mindy, Great marketing video! You should do more explaining multiple aspects of flight in the Bonanza with it’s great avionics platform. My family and I loved ours. It’s truly the Corvette of the sky with rock solid gear, super speed, sips fuel and as easy to land as a C172. Best to you both! Mike Brown
I wish i had that tilt autopilot thing when my grades went down to 45 in high school..... Keep it up, it's fun to fly with you guys, i'm not a pilot but i enjoy aviation-youtube a whole bunch. Cheers.
Everything a youtube flight channel should be! Fun, informative, professional and well edited. Subscribed as my new favorite flying channel. Keep up the great work.
Great video. Enjoyed immensely. I fly a 1962 P35 and think the G36 is fabulous. Bonanzas have always been a “Pilots airplane” because of the control harmony. Cirrus needs the autopilot to fly well. If the 36 had 2 front cabin doors I think it would take lots of sales from Cirrus. It already beats the Cirrus in load and cabin capacity. Stronger airframe and just as fast.
Would have been nice to see the performance at a typical cruise altitude (10-12K feet) for a cross country trip. These planes are designed for long distance travel. I am not going to fly to Key West at 4500 feet and get my butt kicked with thermals or dealing with zig zagging around build ups.
This is just a peak at what the Bonanza can do! Unfortunately, we can’t show every scenario..it’s just meant to give you a little taste. That’s all. If you’d like to know more, feel free to ask questions. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video - nice channel. I live near Falcon Field and I'm really sad that they stopped putting on those epic airshows. Have you heard anything about why they stopped? I surmise it had to do with the ticket debacle regarding the weather on the second day of the Blue Angels show in 2015, but I had no idea it would lead to the airshow completely drying up for all time.
So sad Textron just keeps making the same old airframes and putting in engines from the 1960s... Apart from the G1000NXI (which, by the way, all major manufacturers offer) no innovation at all. With Diamonds new DA50RG out on the market sales for the Bonanza will continue to drop, same applies for the C182T and C206T. Nobody wants a Baron anymore with the DA62 being better in almost every single way. And in my view Tecnams P2010/ P2010TDI is the better choice compared to the C172S. Some innovation will be needed for Textron in order to continue to be competitive in the light GA market... Nice video though 👍🏼😉
*The G36 Bonanza is set up with its fantastic avionics ensuring a high level of safety for the pilots...you two pilots are amazing with all this technology memorized to handle this awesome high-tech plane...thanks for sharing ladies!!*
Mindy. I it's philip.at 15000 feet could you land your airplane from 15000 feet with no engine on. And glide it down on to the run way saving 15000 feet of fuel.make sure the runway is below first. Take care phil.
I really enjoyed that. Fabulous video & aircraft. I’m an old man now & my flying days are over but my passion still lives on through video like yours. Thank you both. X
i just got this on my you tube algorythem you two make great videos together im thinking KING SCHOOLS have you two ever thought of making some flying instruction videos if not you should just sayin!!!!!!!!!!
Philip says nice to see you both looking well.you make it look so easy philip is thinking of go to sherborne flying club Leeds west Yorkshire.they have invited me to have a look at the club. Take care phil hope to see you some day philip.
Bonanzas are Cadillacs of the sky. They certainly do have excellent control balance. But a new G36 is close to Million Dollars. That’s a lot of dough for a 1947 design.
Is the G36 aerobatic or does Beech make some kind of restriction? If it is, how about a demo of a loop, split-S, and barrel roll? I'm curious how the glass displays react.
So you know Sarah and Mindy Ive heard you refereed to as Shmindy the Factory Girls ... well ... I think it was me that started it .. but it seems to have caught on : )
Another great video! Thank you, Captains. I know it's a delicate subject since you represent both planes, but a comparison between G36 and 206 Turbo HD Stationair would be very welcome. I'm pretty sure both have advantages in different areas, like speed, comfort, load capacity, reach, economy. I feel they are intended for distinct users and your input would be very much appreciated. Cheers
I really enjoyed your presentation! The Bonanza G36 is my dream airplane. Rock solid and a true 6 place airplane. So attractive and the G1000 must be a real joy to fly with. Hope to get a ride some day.
Excellent video ladies. The A36 & Duke (rest in peace) have always been my dream airplanes. A few audio tips to improve your videos: 1) Get a dead cat wind screen for your shotgun? mic when outdoors. 2) Better yet, get a wireless lav (Rode wireless Go) for your talent/speaker when filming your walk around vids. 3) Mix some subtle engine noise from one of your cams together with your intercom audio in post. It makes the in-flight vids much more realistic. Looking forward to your future videos .
Awesome ground and flight demo Mindy and Sarah. The G36 is such a beautiful airplane, I really love the ESP features. Maybe you guys can do a demo in the G58 Barron!!! Thanks
Thanks for these videos. I have a G1000 T182T and it is always informative to watch others using the G1000. Definitely need to take a demo in the Bonanza. Keep up the good work ladies !
Thanks for the take-along. Really smooth flying aircraft and a little like the Cadillac of the air. Girls, had no idea what this aircraft was about. The auto-helpers intergraled as part of of this aircraft, make flying less of a chore. Much obliged for extending your social couch as well a making a body feel at home. Very well done. I can see why, you two are top flight saleswoman reps.
What would that plane sell for? Sure is a nice 36. I flew an A in the late 70's as a stand in part timer and loved it but it didnt have the glass screen avionics.
Great video ladies. Fun and informative and nicely delivered. Sarah has probably the clearest voice on the radio I’ve ever heard! Good job. Will keep a look out for some more.
Love it! The Bonanza is an amazing airplane. So much more capable than the SR22. Nice space in the back. A real six seater.

@@gasfiltered So what would you say the average ground speed for each plane would be at 8000 feet flying from north to south
The sr22 has about 140 pounds higher useful load than the bonanza and cruises at the same speed with less fuel burn
Sarah and Mindy,

Great series. Part 3 should be your flight to Key West.
in bikinis
Nice Job Ladies... for as much going on you made it look easy ';-) Thanks
Great!! Thank you very much for this instructive ride. Greetings from Brasil.
I love that the controls are like something you'd see in a much larger aircraft.

Captain Mindy, you are the best accessory to any plane.
You’re too kind. 😅
Wait, you can add a Mindy and Sara to a bonanza purchase ?

It was scheduled this year to happen again last week but was cancelled due to COVID-19. Its rescheduled for 2021 😊
@@Schmiiindy , Wow, that's still good news, then. :) Thanks for the update.
I'm glad you ditched the Red haired guy, even if he did make you famous.
When I grow up I’m gonna buy one!!!

Great job. Very informative. Very professional delivery. That G1K NXi is one powerful safety multiplier system.
Yes, the NXi is incredible. Kudos, Garmin!
Excellent video "guys" glad I found your channel
I'm in love with this bird. Can someone train in this aircraft for the PPL?

I’d love to see you two do the same for a Cessna Skylane...

extremely nice to see young people with a love of aviation. now, bring on the lear jets.

Hey Miss Mindy. Thoughts on older b36 vs c210? I'm upgrading soon from my little 172.
Bonanzas are Cadillacs of the sky. They certainly do have excellent control balance. But a new G36 is close to Million Dollars. That’s a lot of dough for a 1947 design.
We had an A36 great flying aircraft...but looking at this is like Star Wars everything so neat and the garmin 1000 is just incredible !great video.
Look forward to a Baron video.
Is the G36 aerobatic or does Beech make some kind of restriction? If it is, how about a demo of a loop, split-S, and barrel roll? I'm curious how the glass displays react.
That was beautiful. And so are both of the pilots. I want one of those G36’s. All I need is to win the lottery. And to get my pilots license.
Loved being aboard now all I need is a lot of $ and bingo I'm in.
But I'll keep my C177RG for now.
So you know Sarah and Mindy Ive heard you refereed to as Shmindy the Factory Girls ... well ... I think it was me that started it .. but it seems to have caught on : )
How soon before you won't have to do ANYTHING to fly the plane???
G36 or Cessna 206 for a family trip plane? Or is there something else you’d prefer?
Anyone else end up here after flying this plane in Microsoft Flight Simulator? 😂
I enjoy watching Pilot Bambi alot better 😀👄👄
So Bonanza going out of business? Haven't been able to bring up their website...
Another great video! Thank you, Captains.

Yes- love them both but both have different missions. A comparison is a great suggestion. Thank you for watching!
That was a very pleasant demonstration of the g36 Bonanza 👍
nice,,,, 8:12 its not piinkkkk,,, they call it magentaaaa lol
Got my commercial/multi 20 yrs ago. Haven't flown since. Miss it soooooooooooo much.
Its never too late to get current again and just enjoy flying
I love the shots of the wing when your talking about the displays!
Awesome job, as always!! Thank You so much!!!
I love your presentation. what is the service ceiling of this aircraft?
Thanks ladies for your informative video
Why is it I can understand the woman better then the men. Sometimes I have to ask to repeat when men talk.
great demo girls. who doesn't love the Bonanza.
Loved this plane so much I bought two.
Have a nice flight ladies! Resume your own navigation! Greetings from Brasil!
Mindy.!! You best pilot-ever
Fantastic video! Subscribed and looking forward to more great content.
I don’t think I could concentrate on my flight with you 2 to look at 💋
Qual é a graça em filmar a ponta da asa do aviao
Filma o painel pouso e decolagem filando o painel
Wow that ESP feature is amazing!
Garmin keeps on getting better and better.
Great video, talented pilots, lovely aircraft - thank!
Where is the plane? Show the plane!
Great video thanks Mindy and Sarah🙂
Great job on the LOP vs ROP . Well done.
Amazing video ❤❤❤👍👍👍
This is great Mindy
Bonana G36 is a beautiful bird & the 2 girls Mandy & Sarah are fantastic pilots, sales girls ! Sold me 2 ...
I just fly it simple with piston aircraft.... LOP all day every day, unless the manual calls for otherwise with overheating.
Whoops. Great 2020 G36 review. Alas, still no pilot door. Auto makers figured that one out years ago.
these ladies are an awesome crew for an awesome aircraft. I am wondering what the leading edge extension on the outboard leading edge of the wing.
It is a funky looking vortex generator
Great job of piloting! What would a Bonanza like that sell for? I might start buying lottery tickets!
MUCHAS GRACIAS
What a wonderful airplane. If I could only ever own just one airplane, what would it be? Hmmmm. Let me think about that lol
Where can I buy??
