Just finished this 30 days course. Woohoo! Thanks Paul! Started out as a zero, now feeling like a drumming hero. Have never played or tried anything musical. A music ignoramus. After 30 days of just this on my table, I find my hands drumming their own beats, playing along to songs on the radio, and even keeping tune with a guitarist on a song I've never heard. Paul, you are a master. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for your time and genorosity. You make the world a better place.
Thank you for making this 30 day program, I'm a guitarist for many years and have wanted to trying hand drumming specifically the cajon and have been nervous about where to start to get a good foundation. Seeing this has inspired me to buy my cajon and get going and have no fear of learning a new instrument again after 20 years. :)
It’s like watching a workout video but for hand drums! Love it! I’m starting my Cajon playing this weekend for worship at church. Transitioning from rhythm guitar to the hand drum to help add depth to the acoustic worship. Looking forward to the new adventure! Thanks for this resource!

This is such a great resource! Been watching your videos and following along so already appreciate your videos, but to have a 30 day guide, only 10 minutes a day, with a focus on teaching beginners (that's me) is awesome.
Just wanted to let you know that I have been watching your videos for a long time now even before I owned a hand instrument to play myself and your videos have helped me a lot.
Brilliant! - thank so much - my 9 year old is following your series (now on lesson 3) and learning a lot - techniques and rhthyms and terminology. Could never get him to practice his cajon but now he is willing to do the 10 minutes everyday. I played my guitar along with him doing one of your rhythms and it sounded pretty good. Thanks again for doing this.

thanks so much , if i ever nailed this until the end hopefully i can do some hand drumming to some of my fave songs ,hopefully you will teach us some hand drumming on some songs like perfect by one direction etc hehehe
Hello Iam very new to playing the Cajon I live in Britain I would like to buy a DVD with your work on it, but our DVD`s play on different Program`s can you help me out. I know you have a online Subscription to learn but where I live I need to think of the People who live round me. I would like to take a portable DVD player to a Rehearsal room and Practice there. You are a Brilliant Tutor, Thanks
Whatever works best for you. I’ve been doing 1,2,3,4,5,1,2 etc, whereas my wife has been more comfortable doing several days on 1, then several on 2, etc. The main thing, I find, is to practise regularly and within my capability.
Thank you very much for this 30 day program! One question for clarification, are all slaps done as slaps on the djembe? As in there are never any open tones, all are slaps always? That's the way it looks and just wanted to make sure.

when I perfected this used speed in settings to slowly build tempo. by the time you get 2x you get grooving pretty darn good!!!
