I use medical tape (textile) rather than electricians tape, I feel it works better if your fingers are sweaty. Very interesting video, thank you so much

If you have a spare quicklink on hand, you can use it as a wrench when they get stuck.

I should have mentioned that. If I remember well, the standard 8mm don’t work together. A long 7mm will open enough. Maybe the GrandWall work like that because of the slimmer gate: I have to try!!

I think there is quite a bit of counterfeit CAMP quick links out there. I ordered a bunch of 10mm CAMP delta quick links from 3 different sources, and the laser etched logos are different on some of them. It could be that they are just from different factories, and they are all genuine, but I have a sneaking suspicion that some are not kosher. I don't use them for life support, so I am not too concerned about it. If you are using them for life support, definitely get them from a trusted source!

    Hello Yann,
I love the 8mm MAMMUT stainless steel maillon. However, I almost cannot fit my Grigri, as the opening is smaller than with the CAMP. Do you have a tip for fitting the Grigri?

The bevel on the nut is called a chamfer.
