I think anyone who didn't pull for Kamura Wand should really consider pulling for this. Bahamut Cutter + Arctic Star seems like a great alternative for Kamura Aerith.
I don’t think this is a replacement for Aerith, Matt would still be better for that role with Core Defender. This will have its own uses and enhance MDEF teams for sure tho
@@BodhiJMSRyder It doesn't replace Aerith, but for those that don't even have Kamura Wand, it's the closest alternative. I see a lot of guides for tough content that expect me to have AOE PATK up and MDEF up but don't have any means of doing on one character since I don't have Kamura.

Nice vid. I decided to pull for Yuffie too so i can pair her with Cloud with the costumes (non element team) cause together you get a bunch of patk got both their weapons to OB6.
Went to page 2 with horrendous luck, which means i even pittied the genji blade for seph. I never got zidane or tifa.
I have a feeling that tifa and aerith will get the MAtk variant of the costumes. I'll see if i can make enough crystals to get at least the costume for 1 of them.
The video was good cause you talked about the weapon itself, the pros and cons, and at the end gave your opinion on what you would be doing and what (for you) would be wise for others to do in certain conditions

Her outfit is AMAZING Still going to wait to see other banners. But this one two punch with her and cloud will be crazy strong. Especially with her debuff weapons.....

I am saving my crystals until we get all the banners out. Yuffies weapon is definitely good though! Anything that offers a buff while attacking is super solid. I will defnitely be aiming to get Clouds weapon to OB6 at least and depending on what Tifa and Aerith bring I will be trying for Yuffies weapon to OB6 as well. I feel like she would be great with this weapon on a physical team paired with her Arctic Star.
Honestly this weapon is PERFECT for Bahamut for any newer players.

I'm thinking of getting all of them. Cloud, Tifa and Aerith are my favs and seeing as I haven't played the game in 6+ months, I'm pretty sure I can get the resources to pull it off.

I agree her outfit especially combined with the weapon looks fantastic, keep the faith for the pulls bro. My 1st few started bad but overall ended up getting like 3 3xstamps and only a couple 1x.
I went card 2 stamp 9 and like the cloud banner purchased both the 5k weapon packs and then used stockpiled weapon parts to get ob10.
I can't think of healing options off the top of my head for yuffie but her artic star gives ally and herself patk buff she also has crystal cross for matk buff then a variety of imperils.
I think her, x dps then healer most likely matt with centipede and you have mdef, pdef.
There's alot more options now, great advice on crystal count for players!!
I'm down to 43k however 400 tifa parts and 1100 aerith parts so likely to grab the tifa shop bundle when it comes which calculating based of current shop gives me 800 parts + the 2 weapon purchases although depending on stamp luck on the next banner I may have to finally start making those tough calls.

Clouds weapon is way better imo, gives haste and 40k dmg without debuffs. Clears every stage in 5secs
I think Cloud's weapon appears better because of its gimmicks, but i think in the long run, Cloud's will fall off first. But that's just my thoughts.

Cloud sword will prolly get a buff next time it comes around. 60k extra juicy damage at ob10. Definitely upgrading it from ob6 to 10 the next time around.

Yuffie not one of my characters so still holding out. Resigned to sitting on my hands until we get to the last banner and will go from there. Based on these two being phys I'd expect Tifa and Aerith to be magical DPS but time will tell.
Yeah if i had to guess, both will be matk dps but yeah can only wait and see =)
I really like Yuffie and feel honestly gutted I may have to miss her. Kamura wand and syringe rapier give mdef up though so it's available elsewhere whereas haste is so rare at the moment and additional damage on clouds weapon is unique (I'll probably grab his ultimate weapon and hope for team wide buff duration skills in the future so he can have longer haste and attack down). I feel like I can just chuck another phys attack for all allies weapon as a subweapon on my guided gloves Tifa and save a lot of crystals though.
I buckled and drew for cloud myself, got really good luck and got OB10 in 10 rolls (using 400 weapon parts as well) so I was happy with that but I want to save around 60k crystals minimum for after the anniversary. At the moment I can only do that by having similar good luck on all the 3 remaining characters (10 pulls or less) otherwise I have to miss one. A really good strategy in this game is to be careful of having too much overlap and ignoring the benefit of your previous weapons, like I said I can repurpose older phys attack for all ally weapons for other characters too. Still, crossing my fingers and hoping I can get Yuffie as well.
That's awesome congrats on your pulls!! Just so ya know, we tested Haste and duration and they don't work together unfortunately =( I wish Cloud's weapon had a random 20% chance to cast Haste rather than just once, but yeah it is a super cool weapon.
I am going for Tifa 2 pages and then may go for Aerith 1 page if I have any spare crystals. 😊

Yuffie does look awesome on that gear but it's a hard pass for me. I'm saving my crystals for tifa and then for Vincent Halloween costume, that is going to be lit. Cross fingers red 13 Halloween costume too

Thoughts:
The outfit is sick. My *only* complaint is that I wish her onepiece bathing suit thing was a darker purple more in line with the rest of the outfits purple highlights.
Weapon is great and provides and option to not have Kamura and still be alright. Bahamut Cutter & Arctic Star make for a fantastic physical non-elemental setup that lets you be healer agnostic. Only weapon conditional better than if debuffed is if user buffed, since we can always be buffed, but enemies can't always be debuffed.

Edit: i forgot, i got on my last pulls his ultimate weapon (sephiroth) but im use him so rare only my girls Team are allways build and on start

I pulled for cloud instead of yuffie. I’m one away from ob6 but gems at 20k now. I still got that last guarantee on the second page.. I’ll end up buying the season pass so that’s 7.5k gems replenish for Tifa. I’m just going to wait for weapon parts. I just need 100 😂 yuffie sounds great though for like you said, non elemental battles physical dps, she’s great!
My non elemental dps is Tifa and her cowgirl outfit. I am like 80 weapon parts away from getting her cow girl gloves to ob6. I’m glad she still will be relevant and can compete with yuffie a bit. aoe cloud is so hard to pass up 😅
I said f it and pulled on the cloud banner one more time, got my x3 chocobo and grabbed me the last bahamut sword to ob6. Bless by the Bodhi man himself 😭😂

Got 105k with 7.5k from season pass banked. Plan is to grab all costumes at least and try for ob6 for the weapons with some luck.
Only way i regret emptying the tank during anniversary is if they announce FF8 or FFX collab right after. Angeal I could not care less about tbh.

I was hope ing for tifa ones now we gonna get to a point where we should prefer physical builds over magical since this is the 5th patk all weapon makes it pretty solid for you suppourt & debuffer but im guessing we get to a point we dont neeed a debuffer anymore also she has a high end compare abilty with Cloud in a party since she can buff his patk aswell with Artic star or you gonna build an elemental build for her also the ob5 to ob 6 difference is so real and a huge potency for her C. ability also her costume is real good.
she is running trough Content with my ob10 cloud sadly i dont got the genji again i spent 39k blue gems and got her weapon at ob6 with 145 parts.
Now im running trough content with her cloud and Matt in a party branded all their main&sub weapons to def&mdef and have monsters with 200k both defs and running trough all content no summon ex looks as a problem also b80 was so easy going even higher now.

This weapon is also making kamura wand less mandatory - as long as you run yuffie in group with this and arctic star. But you’re still gonna need a healer. My kamura aerith handling atk and mdef buff and healing all in one package is just such a sweet thing. But this could open up more options. My favorite part of yuffie getting a limit break weapon is that she has no other limited weapons (I think? Not since I been playing and haven’t heard of any from before). So I can feed all my weapon parts to finish this off later
It depends. Typically Aerith brings more to the party than MDEF up, it's the fact that she can buff AoE PATK, ST Heal, AoE Heal, & buff MDEF AoE that makes Kamura so good. I could see Yuffie supporting her, but maybe not always being able to replace her.

Loving the look of her costume 😍 to me personally it looks cooler than Cloud's, kinda makes me think of the thief/assassin class designs.
Now, what I don't like about these weapons is that, AGAIN, they don't come with a wallpaper😕 and to be honest the ones they gave for the event are not that great, don't get wrong, I do think they look cool, specially the 4 characters one, but I think they could have been way better for anniversary banners, they're not even dynamic but just some static pictures 😕
And although this costume looks awesome, Tifa's looks... 🥵 Ufff just amazing XD
FOR REAL! I can't believe they're falling off the wallpapers so hard. Makes no sense as if they dont give us new ones, all the ones we see are from the past and it gives the game a stale sense. They shouldn't be sleeping on these. But yeah, Yuffie looks great and tbh i think her weapon is better than Cloud's =)

Pulled Yuffie and had spectacular luck, so I'm pretty stoked. Don't know if I really needed her since i had Guide Gloves OB10 already, but I'm just 160 Yuffie parts away from capping it.

I have zidane and tifa gloves near ob10 so i feel its better to wait in my case. Also not having many of yuffies weapons make it a huge investment in my case
Definitely wait for you. For me, I only have Ceremonial Sword Z at OB9/Zidane at OB6 and Guide Gloves at OB7. So Yuffie's at OB6 would be the best one, that's my personal thinking towards the banner and my account.
I think I trigged some people in Discord saying I don't think Angeal will be a perma character. They said he'd be playable, but so was Adult Sephiroth. Why add another cloud/zach character that uses a buster sword? I hope I'm wrong, more characters is nice, but I don't think he'll be perma.
I do think he'll be permanent, just out of the fact that he's never really been playable, but either way you could be right. Only time will tell hehe

I think OB0 is still valid if anything for those clutch moments where you need to mdef up but maybe no one else can do it or there's silence in effect. After that, yes 0b6 looks a good stopping point.
I have 82.6k blues and that's with pretty much everything done as of this video and I've got OB10 Cloud. I think the 40k add on is just too good, the aoe can deal with mobs quickly so you can focus on the boss, the haste can help clear things quickly and yeah Cloud is one of the best characters for me, he's helped with a few EX2's that I put off doing and is no slouch. Yuffie is great sure but there are other single hit NE weapons out there, maybe not as good, but she isn't one of my best units.
I got OB0 after 1 pull so I'll wait now for Aerith and Tifa, try and maybe OB10 them maybe and then see what's left, maybe get Yuffie's garb and OB6. No genji blade yet though but at this rate I'll buy it with 300 gems.

Ob10'ed clouds took 6 pages of stamps lol and didn't see genji blade, did the first stamp card on yuffie got the costume and got genji blade on like 5th pull lol

This weapon is more valuable than that. You can use her in place of Red in many battles. She has debuff weapons. When you are against an element that she doesnt have the element weapon to, this comes into play to help stack your other dps character, so put this on her and give her a materia and even arctic star or the magicial version of arctic star. Aerith or matt or Tifa or any healer can do other things. So easy to roll defense materia to stack her defenses along with branding

I agree this weapon blows cloud's weird stuff out of the water.
I also think this weapon doesnt really know what it should be doing. It is a direct replacement for Saving Grace (it allows builds like curaga + umbrella with a elemental materia on aerith while yuffie runs Bahamut + debuff for long lasting mdef up and imperil).
Alone tho this weapon does not provide enough (yuffie lacks physical potency weapons), in terms of damage tifa and cloud are still above and will be even more ahead after tifa's banner. So again we get a in between thingy for yuffie, which is fine imo, she does a great job as a offensive support and she has amazing buff/debuff duration synergies with this.
By the way... i pulled 4 multis on this and didnt see a single copy of the featured weapon, which is absolutely brutal. I found literally every single wishlist weapon, but i cant get a copy of the "increased" pullrate weapon... not sure if we are getting lied to. this weapon should appear more often than the rest of the wishlist not the other way around. I mean my fear of that being true kinda gets confirmed when we look at the (sorry for language) full on retarded ranking event launching with this banner. Just go and try to do it. Not only are those events dogshit (and i know everyone in the community thinks so), but now they are also ultra whale territory. i managed max rewards on the first couple ones they released, but this one here??? what a joke. no free to play is going to get the full rewards here, not a chance in hell. and if you think you can just tune it down a bit and be happy with "most" rewards.... surprise, you will get fucked up even when you lower your rewards by 4 stages. (for reference, i cannot reach 160 stage level with a 360k BP team fully optimized for the boss, maybe with huge rng luck and maybe when i break and spend all gems on yuffie)
IF you or anyone finds a solid way to beat 160+ stage level (with reasonable equipment) i would highly appreciate any tips on this matter. Im losing my mind in this event honestly.

Have you pulled for Cloud? I was able to beat Jenova 179 with Cloud OB6/Costume + Aerith + Yuffie OB1 no costume. But yes, i agree. I'm really surprised how hard some of these are, and if you don't have the new banner gear, it's just basically not going to happen. Total bummer because I have OB10 Vincent atm, and still haven't been able to beat Stage 200 Baloir

And yeah, thats exactly what makes me so sad.... i farmed up Hawkeye for Yuffie to OB10 and now when she could shine and beat the crap out of a earth battle, she just cant do it. Obviously Vincent being magic earth is alot better here, but if even he cannot do it with a limited weapon, then maybe applibot just overdid it with those battles :(
I really hope this is the last of those events and they bring back dungeon ranking. At least they were fun and beatable XD

Sorry bro I disagree with everything here, cloud brings up unique things and put on the table a new meta, this weapon provides something we already have, a normal mdef that can be casted by all support in the game why not a fan of a dps which doesn’t focus on dealing dmg, I would have preferred other unique new stuff like cloud provides
That's alright mate, that's why its a topic of conversation! And yeah, i like the unique stuff Cloud brings, i just think that a one time haste isn't really groundbreaking, and although the added damage is unique, the fact that it doesn't scale to r abilities or buffs takes the weapon from broken to strong. But either way, both are good =) Both will have their place in the game, and hopefully people enjoy both of them, whichever they ended up choosing
Just a heads up because you make this comment often, the guaranteed 5* doesn't have an effect on the animation. It's possible to get no dodge/deflect and still get the auto 5* at least I believe I've gotten that a few times. If you see the animation for dodge/deflect that means you got 2 minimum.
I'm pretty sure the dodge/deflect is a guarantee of 1 5* since i've gotten that with only 1. The guaranteed one you are right, it doesn't have to dodge/deflect to get it, but if you do get the dodge/deflect on a guaranteed one, then yes that would be certainly 2
Her original costume pants was zipped up and buckled but now it is unbuckled if I am not mistaken..

Skip, i have Aerith kamura Wand ob6 and it's much better imo
They are meant for different things, Kamura is better, but I wouldn't really compare the two. Yuffie can't replace Aerith, but she can enhance her.

This banner tried to shaft me, dont pull. 5 multis for a yuffie weapon where is the only thing to pull. If i went for the set i would be out of crystals.
My pulls through first half of stamp card were pretty horrendous as well ngl
I don't use Yuffie at all, so; easy pass for me. lol.

@@FromTheSkylessVoid I've never pulled for any Yuffie and have never leveled her up, I don't like the character. So for me I would be wasting crystal's. I'm wanting to see the other two and what they bring.
