Oooh, just lovely playing and tweaking - what an absolute pleasure to listen to :) Agree 100%, Ambika sounds just so fine. Whilst it has a menu layer or two, its pretty intuitive and lets face it, very well though out. It's my bread and butter synth, the SMR filter is so easy on the ear. And the P12 - man, loved that interface, just so nice. But I struggled with the sound off the bat and having to tweak everything to get it to sound warmer (saturation etc). I guess everything falls back to ears over eyes when it comes to synths. If its as black and white as that of course. Peace from the UK
The Ambika is a great synth. I don't use it enough though, as editing is not as straight forward as some other hybrids. The Waldorf M is my favourite at the moment. The filters on the Ambika (especially hi-resonance) are stunning though. Great video!
Waldorf M is my favorite rn as well, I just picked up an Ambika for pretty cheap because it has no case. Can't wait to see how they compliment each other.
Absolutely Love this synth, and video. Thinking of pulling the lever for the Michigan Synth Works XENA. What voice cards do you like the best? Respectfully Expanding Knowledge.
Can only speak highly of the SMR but have a curiosity about 4PM. Have gleaned there's not a huge amount between them. As for MSW gear ? Don't hold back - built like a tank (have msw-810), the quality and support is absolutely top notch. For those that know :)

Definitely my favorite of the hybrids, too (P12, Peak, P16).

One of the most underrated poly synths ever
This is lovely. One of my favorite soundscapes of yours recently!
I already own a Mutable Instruments Shruthi with SMR-4-MKII FILTER, love that synth to death!
Nice! The SMR4 filter is great :)
the filter config in your Ambika always lives rent free in my mind lol (lovely jam as always...loving the modulation effects too)
starting @10:00 I love this section
Love this synth!
nice................I love the stereo activity brain massage.........
I think this synth would sound amazing thru my MERIS Mercury Seven pedal!
❤❤❤❤Beautiful soudscapes. Thanks Midera
You make me want an Ambika again. What's your opinion on the new Xena generation of pre-built Ambika's? What filter setup are you running here?

As a fellow Ambika owner, this sounds amazing. What voice cards do you have in it?
I have 3x 4P and 3x SMR. Not by choice… when I bought it it was listed as 6x SMR. Guy wouldn’t take it back when I found out a few days later.
Wonderful...Can it receive or transmit midi aftertouch signals? Thanks! 🙏
I think so. There should be a manual for it as well. I don’t usually use Aftertouch.
@MIDERA I Discovered , it transmit and receive 👍
Nice!
