Unfortunately, though, men rarely receive the dildo of consequences- no matter how awfully they behave. There are SO many men in the music industry, sports industry, and entertainment industry that have been accused of assault (of all types) or battery and still work and make millions. The only reason he could or would receive consequences would be because his star wasn’t big enough to shield him from it yet.
@@OscarLangleySoryu, Bill Cosby was not at the height of his fame when he was finally taken down AND he is a black man in America. He also was a sexual predator and serial rapist. He and Harvey Weinstein and R Kelly were brought down during the height of the Me Too movement, the momentum of which helped shine a spotlight on otherwise untouchable men. Zach Bryan is a conservative white man who sings country music and is reaching the top of success in his career. He is an emotional and potentially physical abuser. He is VERY different than Bill Cosby and committed VERY different crimes. Michael Fassbender, for example, beat the shit out of his girlfriend and still has a relatively successful career. Chris Brown, Emma Roberts, Jim Carey, Johnny Depp, the late Liam Payne, etc all have histories of abuse allegations and have/had relatively unharmed careers. Should all abusers receive consequences? Absolutely. Zach Bryan should face consequences. But will he? Highly unlikely. Stan culture and social media makes it easy to gloss over their crimes and just excuse it away. It’s infuriating.
As sad as this is, this story is SO familiar for so many women and I LOVE that women are sharing openly and supporting each other in leaving these kinds of relationships
The things she went through basically describes my marriage experience 💔 hearing it from someone else that made it out is incredibly eye opening and slightly motivating.
A perfect marriage or relationship is an illusion; there's no universal playbook for making them work. What's effective for one couple may not apply to another. Nevertheless, I've come to understand that there's always a solution to be found. Half a decade ago, my wife and I faced such trials in our marriage that divorce seemed inevitable. Yet, through perseverance and determination, we navigated through the rough waters and emerged stronger, reunited, and more resilient..
There is a lot of sense in what you just said and I hope mine works the same way too, we are currently separated but I cant live without her, I love her so much. wish I can get her back I can do anything to have her back, we have tried therapy amongst other things
Its always difficult to let someone you love go, but in my case I had the help of a spiritual adviser who saved my marriage from collapsing her name is shelly renee white..
Thanks for talking about this because 106.1 kiss fm decided to take his side and said that she was over embellishing everything and that she’s doing this because she’s sad about the breakup. Thanks for expounding on this topic
They literally said that when he's offering $12milion (which is far & away the highest NDA offer I have EVER heard of!) for her to keep quiet AND it's known there is video evidence of his behaviour?! 😡 Holy misogyny Batman!
I thought I was going crazy, because when he Louis said that I was like wtf I missed a coop upload about Zach Bryan? And couldn’t find it lol I was like damn did he take it down or something
I'm glad i don't know who Zach is so i don't have to remove his songs from my playlists. Seriously tho, is he trending outside of US 'cause I've NEVER heard of him
I don't know what's with ab*sive men not letting their girlfriends listen/sing songs. Almost every single one of my girl friends had a male partner who got angry over them singing songs... For example my best friend's ex regularly screamed at her whenever she would play or sing romantic or breakup songs, or even if a song came on the TV/radio, whether she would sing some lines of it or if she stayed quiet, it didn't matter, he would be screaming his head off, saying things like: "How dare you sing songs like that!? I bet you're thinking about some other guy while singing/listening to that, you wh*re! I told you you can't listen to these songs anymore!" etc. These fights would often turn into him being physically ab*sive unfortunately, and these aren't even the most insane things he (or other guys like him) got mad about. Even I personally dated guys who have flat out forbidden me from listening any songs, or got insanely violent if I just sang along when a romantic song came on the radio, they were always accusing me of thinking about someone else?? I'm often schocked by how many celebrities turn out to be like that, but then I quickly remember how often it happened in my life and surroundings, that I can't really be that surprised
it's about projection and control. abusers are highly competitive, and so he felt threatened by her listening to music with emotionally intimate themes. this would be exacerbated in this guy's case because he's a songwriter himself. he feels like he's losing control, so he controls her through threats and intimidation. it's ALWAYS about control. remember that.
It’s common in cults too, to restrict what music you listen to and what you can sing. Only songs about the religion or songs specifically written by the cult can be sung. Nothing from outside influences. It’s part of controlling someone’s mind and heart, controlling their art and expression. An abusive intimate relationship could be considered a two-person cult.
I have a lot of respect for you making a video unapologetically calling someone out that you may call, at the least, an internet acquaintance. And not watering it down at all. Wish more people could do that
I’m just impressed with how cool Barstool Sports has been in supporting her through this. Showing that you can be strong manly men and still support women
minus the fact that dave portnoy has multiple abuse claims against him and is on video in an interview saying “if you’re a size 6 and wear skinny jeans you deserve to be raped” more so the pot calling the kettle black than “supporting women”
My ex verbally mentally and financially abused me for 3 years… I started therapy she told me that I have ptsd from the crap he did to me. Girl you will be so much happier without him and I’m proud so proud you didn’t take the nda women need to hear about relationships like this and know they aren’t alone
So much respect for you for still speaking up and out about this stuff of people who either follow you or who you like (ex. This, Cody) you’re a real one.
The way you handled this was tactful and full of grace. I’m impressed and so vindicated that you are sticking up for us women who have been through these kind of nightmares.
The sad thing about this is, if this is all she's talked about....imagine what she hasn't! I am a DV survivor, and I resonate with her story. She is still holding so much back because when you are in an abusive relationship, you feel ashamed and embarrassed. Even though it's not the victims fault, it still feels shameful. I had to do intense DV victim therapy for 2 yrs just to learn and heal. I hope she take time to heal and realize it's not her fault. 😢
I've been with someone who was manipulative and a lovebomber. it's gruelingly awful. every day they whittle you down and make you feel absolutely horrible about yourself so that you depend on them. it's called learned helplessness. it's almost impossible to leave them because you dont realize the awful treatment is a lie and that you're way better than that, that you don't deserve that and that there truly are people who like you. abusive relationships are incredibly hard to leave so I very much sympathize with her, having been in a similar situation. and to anyone going through anything even remotely similar, confide in a friend, make sure there's someone who knows what's going on and leave that shit. it may feel like you can't but you absolutely can and should. you are more valuable than that person says.
Dude no joke i had a stepdad who behaved like this and his name is zach so when i heard about the bonfire and birthday incident it just brings me back to the moments our family had to get cps involved file a restraining order and we literally are here in kansas because of it like we had to leave without him knowing this was 2 years ago and our family is still dealing with the trauma

he literally is so similar to my narcissistic ex. after our relationship i had to go to trauma therapy to literally rewire my brain. the worst thing you can do to these types of people is take your power back and that’s why he’s so desperate for her to be silenced. regardless, he’s probably incapable of change
Only thing I will say is that STDs are extremely common and they don’t make you disgusting. Most people will receive or pass on an STD in their lifetime, it isn’t something to shame anyone on. People unknowingly give STDs all of the time and men don’t typically showcase the same symptoms as women so it can be more difficult to tell. Now we should all get frequent workups if we’re engaging in casual sex, but I just wanted to say that’s it okay if you’ve had an STD or given/gotten one before-it happens. That being said wtf is up with him and how he treats women he’s so disappointing 😭

@@andihunter7104 ok... and Bill Cosby wasn't big enough either, right?
Nobody said we are weeding out every single person. My position is, keep going.

Take care of yourself 🖤 im rooting for you!
awh i hope youre doing way better now🙁
A perfect marriage or relationship is an illusion; there's no universal playbook for making them work.
This is helpful, I will look her up online right now...Thanks.
You wont regret it

we all say in unison
Thanks for talking about this because 106.1 kiss fm decided to take his side and said that she was over embellishing everything and that she’s doing this because she’s sad about the breakup. Thanks for expounding on this topic
They literally said that when he's offering $12milion (which is far & away the highest NDA offer I have EVER heard of!) for her to keep quiet AND it's known there is video evidence of his behaviour?! 😡
Holy misogyny Batman!
louis mentioned this video before it was released so when it dropped i RAN to this vid, so happy both of you are covering this cause its INSANE
Please please please Cooper and Louis colab would be amazing!!!
no one cares 😂😂
I thought I was going crazy, because when he Louis said that I was like wtf I missed a coop upload about Zach Bryan? And couldn’t find it lol I was like damn did he take it down or something
@ville-c4u why are you replying to multiple comments like this. You don't care, so stay in your lane and don't come at people for having fun...
@@ville-c4u still crying
I'm glad i don't know who Zach is so i don't have to remove his songs from my playlists. Seriously tho, is he trending outside of US 'cause I've NEVER heard of him
US mostly, he is very niche in my country
He's super popular where I live, which is the Southeast. But honestly it just looks like he tours out west, people love him here 😭
I don't know what's with ab*sive men not letting their girlfriends listen/sing songs.
Almost every single one of my girl friends had a male partner who got angry over them singing songs...
For example my best friend's ex regularly screamed at her whenever she would play or sing romantic or breakup songs, or even if a song came on the TV/radio, whether she would sing some lines of it or if she stayed quiet, it didn't matter, he would be screaming his head off, saying things like:
"How dare you sing songs like that!?
If he gets jealous when you're singing a simple love song, he's a hussy.
These guys your describing just sound like straight psychos like there has to be sum wrong wit them
it's about projection and control. abusers are highly
competitive, and so he felt threatened by her listening to music with emotionally intimate themes. this would be exacerbated in this guy's case because he's a songwriter himself. he feels like he's losing control, so he controls her through threats and intimidation.
it's ALWAYS about control. remember that.
It’s common in cults too, to restrict what music you listen to and what you can sing. Only songs about the religion or songs specifically written by the cult can be sung. Nothing from outside influences. It’s part of controlling someone’s mind and heart, controlling their art and expression.
An abusive intimate relationship could be considered a two-person cult.
my mom does that when ever i sing she tell me shut up u sound ugly !!😂
I have a lot of respect for you making a video unapologetically calling someone out that you may call, at the least, an internet acquaintance. And not watering it down at all. Wish more people could do that
I’m just impressed with how cool Barstool Sports has been in supporting her through this. Showing that you can be strong manly men and still support women
minus the fact that dave portnoy has multiple abuse claims against him and is on video in an interview saying “if you’re a size 6 and wear skinny jeans you deserve to be raped”
more so the pot calling the kettle black than “supporting women”
At least one of them (Dave Portnoy, I think?) has sexual abuse allegations against him, from what I've been reading.
I’m impressed and so vindicated that you are sticking up for us women who have been through these kind of nightmares.
you missed a opportunity to call him “the EVIL, CONNIVING DICTATOR!!” from hell

why cant men be emotionally stable for once
Rofl. Yeah, cause women are the epitome of emotionally stable. 😅
HIS HAIR IS FINALLY GROWING OUT
I WAS THINKING THE SAME
Dude no joke i had a stepdad who behaved like this and his name is zach so when i heard about the bonfire and birthday incident it just brings me back to the moments our family had to get cps involved file a restraining order and we literally are here in kansas because of it like we had to leave without him knowing this was 2 years ago and our family is still dealing with the trauma
How dare my feed hide this from me for 14 seconds
😂 Where have you been
Relatable
Wow, im so sorry this happened to you :,( 💔💔 just a deeply gut wrenching, horrifying tale💔💔😞
I didn’t see it for 3 HOURS 💀😭😭
The fact he follows you and is actively a fan and you still posted this just shows you ain’t in it for the clout and I respect that so much
As a victim myself I would have taken the money like just straight up retire so I highly respect her for still deciding to expose him.
dated a guy in a band that’s like semi famous not even actually famous, & he did this exact thing to me. he went to la for work so i took a job out of state so we could both be out for work and as i packed and the first night i was staying at my moms before i got on the plane and this man broke up with me over the phone. 😂 four years didn’t mean shit he just wanted to be a fake rock star lmao 🤣
Why can’t people just be normal 😔 I swear it’s like everyday something awful a celebrity did comes out…
AY U AND LOUIS BOTH POSTEDDDD!! welp time to sit down and watch both vids
THANK YOU COOP THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED ❤
Firstly, Who tf is he ?
And secondly, he couldve used all that money from the NDA to go to THERAPY🤪🤪
Men will do anything but therapy.
Therapy would only making him more abusive. Nothing can change people like that.
@@winxclubstellamusahed have to want to change for therapy to work...
I dont think he sees anything wrong with himself 😬
@@winxclubstellamusa yeah, they usually just learn how to weaponize "therapy speak" against their victims. I guess the only way they can change is if they want to change, and there's rarely an incentive for that, for white men especially.
i respect cooper sm because so many people would avoid talking about it just so Zach wouldnt unfollow them
As someone born and raised in Oklahoma, men like Zach are more common than you’d think.
3:46 has got to be one of the wildest fan selfies I've ever seen in my life. I'm honestly shocked this isn't a meme format already
that photo is a still from a video of them singing to each other and dancing… completely taken out of context for clout by the chick that posted it

Cooper, never feel the need to apologize to abusers. Rule number one always haha. Another banger, king
While he’s a successful artist, 4 million a year is a significant amount of hush money for someone of his level.
He’s frightening.
Also ngl I hadn’t heard of either of them until this situation. So for a singer that’s real rough 😬
One of my fav UA-camrs exposing one of my fav artists
I haven’t watched it yet and I’m sad it’s gonna ruin how I listen to his music
How is it so hard to be a normal decent person.

Cooper having a tattoo of a diamond after Sophia’s last name is just so adorable 🥰🥹
“I can’t believe you’re singing another man’s song..” Insanity. Genuine insanity.
I’m not surprised in all honesty, most male country artists are just….it goes without saying
and white men are 90% of mainstream country music with no signs of that changing

I like how louis mclung said that your going to make this video a day before it was posted
Low key love those galaxy lights you have in your background!
Thank you Cooper, for posting just as I was about to do the dishes 🙏
Some men actually thrive dethroning a successful woman.
Used to love his music, but after Brianna spoke up about what happened i removed all of his songs from my playlists. Disgusting and terrifying. Wishing the best to her, she deserves so so so much better
kudos to coop for not shying away from talking about this scenario because zach follows him

jokes aside, great video and i’m glad you didn’t let the fact that he was nice to you and follows you stop you from calling him out, a lot of people would try to stay on his good side just cause he’s famous and rich
he literally is so similar to my narcissistic ex. after our relationship i had to go to trauma therapy to literally rewire my brain. the worst thing you can do to these types of people is take your power back and that’s why he’s so desperate for her to be silenced. regardless, he’s probably incapable of change
Love this!!! Thank you for talking about it!!!
I really needed that Gus palette cleanse at the end, thank you 🥺💖
Zach bryan watching this:👁👄👁
The first 30 seconds, I really appreciate it! Standing up for women and letting other men know that's not ok.
He’s worth 10-15 million but offers her 12?? Something ain’t adding up
12 million is an insane amount but I believe the terms were something like 3 million a year over 4 years, so it wouldn’t be paid out all at once.
He got that abusive in the ONE YEAR she dated him?! Ladies, that is bad news! Take this as a cautionary tale!
Why do people think that their bad behavior won’t come to light?
we got pretty great Gustav content here and for that i am forever thankful love Gus

For the love of god bro 😭😭😭 can people PLEASE not be horrible human beings for ONE SECOND why is it every other artist I listen to 👎
coop your hair is incredible in this vid
Super sad this all comes out as soon as I am supposed to see him. It’s gonna be so hard to look at him and not feel upset.
To clarify I don’t blame her speaking out obviously she needs too.
That being said wtf is up with him and how he treats women he’s so disappointing 😭

thank you!! so important to talk ab this
Amazing vid! The ending song was an absolute banger

thank you for this majestic video Cooper (also was the first like 😼)
It’s wild though to see barstool rally for a woman for once like don’t get me wrong love it but it’s hard not to feel insane knowing that companies average viewer is likely more similar to Zach then Bri!
