Thank you for the downloads. They are very helpful as a reference. Your page designs are meaningful and beautiful. Love the inktense colors you choose. My favorite blue is 1000 bright blue, perfect for sky backgrounds/shading.

I agree! I had tried it with a laminator but it was kind of pain and I didn't want to spend the money on the Minc so I'm glad this worked so well!
This is so cool. I thought about how I could get foiling into my bible and thought about heat embossing but this is genius! I will use this!
I had wondered about using an embossing tool to heat the foil but this worked out so well and was really simple!

Love this! So pretty and inspiring!! Are those watercolors chalky? I'm struggling finding really good watercolors. 😐
Thank you! These aren't chalky at all! They are actually an India Ink ground up into pencil form so not technically watercolor. This just means that they are permanent when dry and are very intense in color (no bleed through though).

I did not prep and no bleed through.

I just used a plain mechanical pencil that I picked up from Target and then I used the Illustrated Faith Precision pens to fill in the lettering. The Inktense pencils I found on Amazon....you can find all the links (pens, Bible, blog, etc. in the description box under the video)

It needs to be glue that is sticky once it’s dry so not all glued will work.

+Lyn C haha I guess they have sort of become my trademark 😘 I got the foil from Hobby Lobby but it was a few dollars cheaper on Amazon unless you use a coupon and I've had that glue pen forever but I believe I got it from Michaels but I think you could find it at any craft store. Tonya Hamilton says the Quickie glue pen works as well if you can't find the other 😉

+lmari03 thanks! Nope, I very rarely use gesso. Sometimes when I'm using Distress Inks since they bleed but even then I don't do it all the time.

Never mind... already found them, in case anybody else wondered bcs they seem like a practical organizing solution, especially for those gelatos... they are Not 4 by 6, but 5 by 7 Iris photo cases. I'd like LindseyDecor to know what an invalueble help this idea has been! Tks!!
I wonder how copic markets work on these pages.
Alcohol markers will 100% bleed through so they aren’t good for using in your Bible.
Do you have to prepare your page before you work?
I don’t because I use mostly products that don’t bleed and don’t care even if they do but I’d bleed through bothers you than you can prep the page first.
Just wondering, what would happen if you applied the foil while the glue is blue? Since I would want the foil in the Bible permanently, why wouldn't you apply it right away? I've never done it before so I'm just curious. Thank you!
The foil wouldn’t stick to the wet glue because it isn’t sticky until dry. It just mushes out and makes a mess. Even though other products are only temporary bonds with this technique, the foil stays in no problem.
